I'm in know way ITK about what is going on, but I have a bit of an inside track when it comes to LFC. For several years I have been employed as a driver for the women's team, so do hear snippets of what is or could be happening.
My info is that Slot's job is safe until at least the summer, and there are no moves to oust him - currently.
Could this change in the short term? No idea, but I for one am not holding out that Alonso, or anyone else will be in charge any time soon.
Does this throw a damper on what Carra posted earlier. Not necessarily, because there was no time frame mentioned in his post.
As I stated earlier I am not ITK, but just passing on what I have been hearing.

Coincifentally I myself happen to be the tea lady and, whilst that doesn't itself make me an ITK, I have recently installed a series of listening devices and should soon be able to update you with Slot's dinner plans.

I won't post on here again if Slot is sacked and Alonso is bought in before the summer.
I know Carra didn't state a timeframe, but from what I am told, the board are standing firm by Arne.
I know it will leave a sour taste in a lot of people's mouths but they have had conversations with senior players and they are taking responsibility and not pushing it at Arne's door. These talks included the likes of VVD, Robbo and Alisson.

So they should Johnny. There's no doubt Slot has underperformed this season but some of those players need to take a long hard look at themselves.
The thing is, we would all describe this season as a disaster but we are still in 4th place and have one of the best squads in the league, if not in Europe.
First world problems and all that.
