Been reading us and Arsenal have representatives watching a young Georgian lad Bartishvili tonight.Looks the part.Anyone any info on this?

Think we've been competing with Arsenal for his signature for a while, if it's the same Georgian wunderkind I'm thinking of.

Us, Arsenal and Paris FC are keen to sign. Rumours a few weeks ago were that Arsenal had all but wrapped up a deal. Those rumours were essentially rubbished, the player himself sharing a photo of an article that spoke of our plan to hijack the deal. This was seen as very promising for us, as he never posted anything Arsenal-related whilst he was in talks with them.
The player is currently involved in a set of European qualifiers. He has said that's where his current focus lies, and he won't be making any decisions/announcements until after they're finished.

As mentioned last week, reports online state his reps and the player himself will wait until after the European qualifiers he's taking part in before deciding. Arsenal were close but so are we.
