The one thing I like about Adams is he's salty. He gets stuck in and does the dirty work.

I have noticed this before, we have a habit of going for captain/leaders type material in our targets, and when you look at our squad. I don't think that's a bad thing. Salah and Robbo have left so that experience and leadership need to come in.

I think this is a shrewd piece of business. When fully fit, he is a top class defender and sounds like a change will do him the world of good.
We have 4 defenders currently injured, and we are hopeful once they are fit, they are all first team material. If we get them back on the field in a month or two it would have been a massive waste of money to spend 60/70 million on a centre back when we need that money to strengthen other areas.
A loan of such an experienced player with an option to buy, if it works out, is perfect. He is a defender that is strong and powerful and great in the air, and that's why exactly what we needed with the amount of goals we conceded from set plays last season. He is not slow either, so hopefully this is an excellent signing.
Now let's get Barcola don't and move on.

Wouldn't think too much about it... Just a lazy "Manager's last club" rumour.
Also wouldn't be keen... Good player, but Bournemouth value him more than we would.
