Hughes, Slot, etc. are still finding their feet. Suggestions that we should have had a plan 6 months ago is ludicrous at best. I'll take a top 4 finish in what might be a transition year and give Slot and the recruitment team time to make their mark. We have a good enough squad to achieve that. The flip side of the coin is Chelsea and I'm happy that's not how we conduct ourselves.

Jan will be difficult to bring a permanent solution in. Biggest worry we have is at CB if we allow Gomez and VDB to leave. 3 CBs w one who can't stay fit for more than 6-7 games so effectively 2 CBs going into a potential 60 game season. I'd argue that if we allow 2 CBs to leave then we need to bring 2 in.

Arsenal got beat at Newcastle and City managed a point. No shame in the point. I think Slot learned tonight that if he has to play Gomez and Quansah then put them RB and CB respectively. Also I like Macca further up the pitch and Jones deeper. For me got that backwards as well. Nunez I have no words for.

Salah can see Forest getting a result but I fear for United. We can live in hope tho. Hopefully they just pull the team bus up in front of the goal and all get out and stand in front of it. Move it to the other end at half time.
Injuries a concern but as Trent said yesterday the players live for this time of the season. Bottoms up.
