Hey Ed's, followed this site for years, you all do a great job! Tried the search engine but couldn't find much, would Liverpool hold any interest in Thiago Silva of PSG? Personally think he is a step up defensively from Lovren, could get him on the cheap as he hasn't got long left on his contract and could rotate between him and Gomez with van dijk as our CBs . Would love this summer for us to get Meyer also think he would be a good option in midfield and work well for Klopp. Another fullback as cover and someone to cover either wing and if say we'd be good .

I worry about Buvac leaving at a critical period of the season if I'm honest. It can only be something really personal and traumatic or something has happened behind the scenes that has made the relationship untenable. I hope for the love of god it has nothing to do with Arsenal, would be just our luck. We always take a step back when we're close to something special.

You're probably right, Jigz. Those two have probably seen so much together in 17 years, that I doubt a difference of opinion would have created an immediate departure. I accept Ed001's opinion that it's because of marginalizing and a bruised ego, but I think there's more behind the scene, also. Perhaps we'll find out or maybe we'll never find out.

Both Madrid teams have been interested, but there is no 'agreement'.
To what extent that interest is unknown. Possibly speaking to his agent to sound out interest, or maybe even inquiring to us directly. Heck it could of been from last summer.
Either way there is no agreement.

I would find it far more concerning if other top clubs weren't showing any interest in our players.

So if we go Mané out, Fekir and Dembele in- are we OK with that? Fekir and Bergwijn in?
I might be OK with it, especially with Mané sulking his way out of RB and So'ton.
All assuming there really is interest/ bid from RM. In the perfect world we keep a happy Sadio for next year and add Fekir+ Bergwijn as rotation to make a real title challenge.

Not at all Andy me personally would rather keep mane, who we know can make a huge impact in the premier league we don’t know how Dembele would cope, Fekir either that’s my opinion.
