Hey Eds, is there any interest in ourselves in Ruben Neves, he is a class Defensive Midfielder and reports seem to be gathering a bit today. I would love for this to be true, he would have a lot to offer to our midfield, like his passing range, etc. He would carry a big price tag, like porto players do, but is it a possiblity

{Ed002's Note - Is it a Porto player a day now: Porto's Ruben Neves is subject to sustained interest from Chelsea, passing interest from Manchester City, PSG, Real Madrid and another English side, not Liverpool. Porto has no interest in selling unless a very significant offer is made - and the asking price might well scare most clubs away. It was suggested Liverpool looked at him earlier in the year but Porto are unaware of any specific interest.}

If we only play 40-45 games (depending on cup progress), why are we being linked with so many players. Surely the club would have to ship out players now rather than buying.

Its that time of the year kwk, always happens. Transfer window hasn't opened yet and were linked with everyone! When the window opens people will be on their way out.
