Hi ed01 got a question for you as you said yesterday you have been watching RBL Liepzig recently. I watched a podcast yesterday where some journalists where talking about our start to the season and how it compares when Klopp took over at Dortmund (yes he had a stronger defensive base when he took over and brought Subotic from Mainz to join Hummels), but they brought the lead football writer from Der Zone (spelt wrong) a guy named Alexander Schurtler (spelling) as an expert on Klopp at Dortmund but the thing he said that took my notice most is that he states Naby Kieta is the best player in the Bundesliga, now i've look at youtube and as we all know even Quasimodo could look like a superstar on youtube, but as youve stated youve watched a bit of him recently what's your own assessment please.

{Ed001's Note - he was also on Bein Sports saying the same things mate. It is difficult to argue from what I have seen this season. Lewandowski is not at his best, nor is Aubameyang so far. Keita has really stood out like a sore thumb. What I have seen has made me really excited for his arrival.}

thanks for the quick reply Ed maybe its a bit of a bright light at the end of a dark tunnel.

{Ed001's Note - it looks like a blindingly bright light so far this season, he really does look a worldy.}

How would you like to see up line up with him in the team Ed001? Would he be our defensive midfielder?

{Ed001's Note - god no, he is a box to box midfielder. We need someone to sit deep and him in central midfield in front, alongside another central mid.}

DM? No way. You might as well give him back to RBL and forget about it. Naby is unbelievable, a true football specimen both physically and technically. Pace, power, vision, dribbling ability, shooting, scoring and assisting. The total package. Another thing tha caught my eye when he played vs Schalke this season, he is the king of the nutmeg, lol. He nutmeged the oppo at least 4/ 5 times in that game. He should be the B2B when he comes in with someone else sitting in behind.

Oh that' will do for me! If eds says he's a worldy then that's made my day.
Just need two CB and defensive midfielder and I'd be over the moon.
Oh and ward between the sticks.

Along the lines of

Can
Keita Coutinho

Shame the other 2 will most likely be off ed. We will be doing another rebuilding project won't we?

Can will be gone.

The guy is just incredible at picking up the ball and transitioning defence into attack - he gets back and does the dirty work, but once he has possession and gets on the move, defences are scared of him with the ball at his feet, he's a bit like a midfield version of Mane breaking forward.

I think he's going to be incredible at adding a real threat to our play from midfield, think a Hendo, Keita and Coutinio midfield would be phenomenal.

To see Keita at his best next season, we need to sign a CDM. If we can keep Coutinho as well, it will be Keita, Coutinho and a CDM in midfield. Now that is what a well balanced midfield is supposed to look like, not this juggled up mess we have right now.

Keita, Llalana and Gary Medal eds?

{Ed001's Note - Medel looks a bit past his best now sadly.}

Only just turned 30 and with his nous should be able for a couple of years, come on eds dream a bit. 😋.

{Ed001's Note - I would love to but I see signs of a player who is worn out when I watch him. Might just need a break, Chile's players have had an insane schedule over the last few years.}
