I don't get this hate towards FSG, they are trying to do things the right way, they have spent plenty of money, they have been let down by managers and the transfer committee.
Surely turning a profit in the transfer window is supposed to be celebrated? Do people just want them to spend money for the sake of it? We've spent plenty of money this window, just recuperated more.
Surely it's always better to turn a profit. Besides, FSG are a business, they are not here to throw millions of pounds away. They aren't football fans, they are business men.

They won't be here much longer so it's irrelevant, I just hope they sell to the correct type of owner! I doubt they will as they've no interest or connection to the club or it's fans so will sell to whoever offers the most $$$$$. It's been 6 years and people still can't see what there about, they just take in what there being spoon fed and don't look into anything for themselves, the importance of being idle I guess, why go to those levels of effort when there's a PlayStation to be played on.

I like my PlayStation! Although I'm a full on nerd and prefer to play Dragon Age or Lord of the Rings games. Maybe the odd shoot em up such as Star Wars or Medal of Honour.
Sport games I'm not so keen on. My missus keeps beating me at PGA tour which is driving me insane, and FIFA usually results in me having to dig my controller out of the walls. Although at least I don't lose to girls on that!

When FSG announced they were expanding the stadium they said it would go to 58k capacity eventually and it can't go further.
Does anyone know if there is a rough date for this or is it just "in the future"?

Well I didn't realise it had been dealt with, I don't visit the site every day. Can you tell me what to search to read what was said? Does it state why phase 2 won't happen?
{Ed002's Note - Perhaps "Phase 2" would be a good thing to search for. Phase 2 will eventually happen but the costs are prohibitive given the returns. Financially it makes no sense for these owners to do.}

Here's a fun question: Our best 2 teams of the premier league era is clearly rafa benitez's 08/ 09 and Brendan Rodgers 13/ 14
My question is, if they were to play each other (obviously in their primes), who would win?
Completely different styles. I think it could go either way. Brendan's team could smash them from the off and go 3-0 up by halftime but we all know what rafa can do then ;)

Rafa had defenders and a keeper, Rodgers as Suarez.
I think Rafa's team would win because Carra and Sami would keep Suarez quiet whilst Torres would run riot against Migs and Skrtel 😄.

Rafa's side, as we saw with the still very sore fatal Chelsea match, Rodgers' side had no answer if a team set out to defend well, plus with a prime Gerrard and Torres, our 2013 defence would stand no chance, I'm sure the SAS would get at least 1 goal though due to how prolific they were, Suarez scoring it assisted by Sturridge, Gerrard scoring 1 and Torres scoring 2 for Rafa's side, Carra will also make a goaline clearance from a Suarez shot who bites sustitute Aly Cissoko in frustration.

No comparison whatsoever. The 08/ 09 team was more complete and more cohesive. Better players in most positions. Despite Suarez and his molars, the 13/ 14 team wouldn't get past midfield with Alonso and Mascherano blocking everything.

Everyone said that people struggled to see what Joe Allen brought to the pitch but you all just about cried when he left. Some teams need them kinds of players for balance.

Zidane made things look so easy, I know that is a cliche but that is completely true for zidane. Looked effortless at times the way he just knew how to take a player on. Unbelievable.
