Have i missed something. we drop some points ok its against so called lesser clubs. we are still 4th ahead of spurs and arsenal. support the boys. don't just hate 4 the sake of hateing. other top clubs will drop points again and we will re group and take advantage of it. thanks eds 4 all your time and effort.

It isn't hate, it is health scepticism of our prospects going forward from this point on as it is clear that we lack quality in vital areas of the pitch that Salah, Mane and Firmino can't keep bailing us out of. Lose to Huddersfield and Tottenham and that is a season in crsis.

You've missed something. We beat city we then lost to bottom of the table Swansea with the most abject performance followed by an even more abject performance losing too second bottom WBA in the cup. Think fans are rightly peeved at the moment.

I dunno, maybe the manager allowed the City fever to go on for too long and may have impacted the players' psychology at Swansea.

The next game is always the important one and is just around the corner. You can't be stuck on the last match, win, lose or draw.

Brilliant response, RBL. Red Reaper, fans can be rightly peeved as we all are and the fact the some of us keep a level head in the midst of frustration, does NOT make us snowflakes, unambitious or accepting of mediocrity. Not in the least bit. As RBL said, get mad, blow off steam BUT remember what football is all about. It's about being stronger together esp. when the chips are down and daring to see positivity even if things are not looking good. The problem here is that after each loss (5 in all comps., a complete disaster lol), fans get this way EVERY TIME. This is what does people's heads in.

Many of them are quiet when we win but as soon as we draw or lose the odd game, it is time to lose your mind and start howling to the moon and start project doom as if they know what will happen in the future whereas these same people did not see us going 18 unbeaten after the Spurs debacle. Keep your head level and stay humble in all situations and nothing will take you by surprise esp. in a game as unpredictable as football.

This isn't the Waltons Jim bob. This is LFC. We have a reoccurring difficiency with being up for the lower table games which is a real cause of frustration for all of us. If we want to vent off a bit on a banter page then let us stew please. I'll embrace your happy clappy view in defeat when we play well and lose fighting.

Red Reaper, and where has This is LFC gotten you. Wake up and smell the coffee mate. We ain't all that and have been bang average for over two decades in the PL, WAY before the owners and Klopp got here so you can be peeved till you're blue in the face or blame Klopp, the players or the owners for things that happened before they came here, none of that will change these facts I just posted.

The fact STILL remains that we are still swimming upstream as a club and we have NO God-given right to win a damn thing. You have to show up and play and if we don't do that, Stockport will beat you and you'll moan and moan and well, you'll get over it.

It is this pathetic sense of entitlement that leads to mass hysteria after each loss. I take the world as it is, NOT as I would like it to be. This is why I don't get any more frustrated than needs to be BUT don't for once think you or My Two Cents, are any more frustrated than I am. I just choose not to be a petulant child about it.

Yeah Red Reaper, keep moaning and see where that gets you or see if that will suddenly make us better and play better cos you moaned and whined. Clearly, that is easier to do than stare reality right in the face that we are way behind City and Utd in terms of the PL as we were asleep at the wheel for 2 decades while they esp. Utd, were getting with the times way back then. That is the reality and you moaning till you're blue in the face won't change that fact.

Hi guys and eds. off topic, but i was just wondering what you all taught of ray houghton as a player. I really loved him, fast, clever on the ball just class to watch? Any taughts. just taught the eds needed a break from all of the same questions over and over. CHeers.

{Ed002's Note - I got to know him pretty well when he was at Oxford. He lived close by to one of my wives and used to practice with the local pub side in Berkshire. He is a very nice man.}

Not really a fan of the january window. inflated prices for average players at best. we have a strong squad when fit so personally i think we should wait until the summer for new signings. good luck rest of this window eds i think you will need it.

klopp has already said that players who can improve you are hardly available in Jan except if you want to ay stupid money for them like we tried to do with Tex last Jan and 38m 9we offered 34m) was too much and had to pull out of the deal. I don`t like it either so like you Clippers, wait till the summer.
