Ed002 anything new on Laxalt? I saw him play for the first time yesterday and was very impressed! I remember you saying a while ago he might be an option.

Jezza kyle

{Ed002's Note - Lazio has a declared interest.}

1.) 01 Jul 2018 19:56:04
He has a silly enough haircut for LFC. Must be nailed on.

15 Feb 2018 14:47:06
I have an in with James Maddison and it looks like he's going to Arsenal. He's been linked with a £30m bid from us in the papers.

Jezza kyle

1.) 15 Feb 2018 15:12:21
who? But seriously 30 million, the can have him.

2.) 15 Feb 2018 15:54:57
Cheers for the rumour. Arsenal can bed him in and we’ll sign him in 5 years 🤝.

3.) 15 Feb 2018 15:55:00
We aren’t actually interested just the papers saying so and coming up with the figures. The player thinks he’s going to Arsenal.

4.) 15 Feb 2018 16:17:25
Why does it not surprise me that Jeremy Kyle has strong contacts in Norwich?

"Is my mum actually my Sister"

5.) 15 Feb 2018 16:25:29
Is it not Trisha with contacts in Norwich?

6.) 15 Feb 2018 19:18:00
Maddison is probably the best player in the championship not sure if he's worth 30 million but who knows in today's crazy transfer market. And MK I'm from Norwich and just because I'm married to my sister what's the problem.

7.) 15 Feb 2018 20:10:59
How's ya bruncle ace.

8.) 15 Feb 2018 21:26:01
All good p1.

9.) 16 Feb 2018 10:20:02
High 6 to that one.

10.) 16 Feb 2018 18:57:21
Brandt new, spilt beer on that one. 😅.

03 Oct 2017 15:48:38
Again after the international break we're on at 12:30 on a Saturday morning! How on earth do they get away with this? Last time we played 12:30 on a Saturday after an international break we lost 5-0. Is it really rocket science to move that game to a Sunday afternoon? Let Swansea play Huddersfield Saturday morning and move Liverpool Man U to Sunday.

Jezza kyle

{Ed025's Note - ahh diddums, its the same for both teams jezza and its just another excuse ready for if things go tits up mate..

1.) 03 Oct 2017 18:01:05
Jezza has a fair point swansea and huddersfield will have less players away on international duty stop bein an ass ed25.

{Ed025's Note - no you stop thinking that liverpool should get preferential treatment because they were good 30 years ago you prat!..

2.) 03 Oct 2017 18:01:24
We always bloody lose when the temperature is between 11 and 13 degrees as well, just you watch it will be 12 degrees and we will lose, absolute joke. 😂.

{Ed025's Note - heaters are the future mikey..

3.) 03 Oct 2017 18:09:17
Im not thinkin of lfc both manutd and lfc have more players on int. Duty your the pratt seein what you want to see.

{Ed025's Note - im not the one complaining kloppcat, ok then give them 3 weeks off to charge their batteries, most of them wont play 90 mins on thursday and they are finely tuned athletes so whats your problem?

4.) 03 Oct 2017 18:20:35
Plus lfc v manutd is the one of biggest games of the year and should be the sunday 4pm game.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think thats your decision to make mate..

5.) 03 Oct 2017 19:58:41
Get a room you two.

6.) 03 Oct 2017 20:46:34
Assume it's also got something to do with not giving the attending fans a chance to get tanked up beforehand.

7.) 03 Oct 2017 21:15:55
I don't think he wants preferential treatment ed just to be treated the same as everyone else. There's no doubt it's a disadvantage to play early on the Saturday after an international break and we had it after the last International break so why make us do it again? So why put us at a disadvantage twice in a month when everyone else gets extra time to prepare? It's a valid point.
I can see why you don't care you'd have us playing on the Friday morning at 6am if you could but for us it doesn't seem fair.
Just because we are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and people want to see us play our games are moved to inconvenient times. But you just wouldn't understand that would you ;-)

{Ed025's Note - "were" one of the biggest seems more apt ings, because of the money sky are putting into the game they have the right to decide when clubs play, its a big game david at home to goliath and the target audience will be mainly asia, thats just the way it is im afraid mate..

8.) 03 Oct 2017 21:31:34
Ed25 you made a point which should have shut everybody up. They are finely tuned athletes. And on top of that paid millions per year for it.
Blaming the international break is literally an excuse because they are still doing their job, playing professional football. it’s not like the summer breaks when they play literally no football at all except maybe a kick around with their kids or w. e.
And it’s not just our players who are playing internationally either is it?

{Ed025's Note - your dead right phil, at their age i was paving by day, training twice a week and playing saturday and sunday, the only thing that bothered me was ear ache from my bird mate..

9.) 03 Oct 2017 21:35:04
The biggest game in the premier league between England's 2 most decorated clubs. It's a massive game as both teams are hugely supported worldwide so they are of course after the audience. I understand it but still don't think it's right that just because of our worldwide draw we get pushed from pillar to post. Could be worse though we could be a team no one wants to watch like you muppets!

{Ed025's Note - your right ings, but if we were on tv i would hate to think that "the peoples club" supporters would bawl their eyes out like 10 year old girls saying "why is it always us", "its not fair","boo hoo"..grow a set will ya mate..

10.) 03 Oct 2017 22:18:40
Time we stopped making excuses and doing the business on the pitch.

11.) 03 Oct 2017 22:11:50
Bitterness runs deep.

12.) 04 Oct 2017 01:01:44
An article says lfc players will travel @76k miles, utd 68k hudddersfield 28k (got a couple of auzzies in team) and swansea 8k. makes no sense havin lfc v utd the early kick off.

13.) 04 Oct 2017 01:22:20
No bitterness, just reality - why should the schedule be set to make it easier for any one club over another. no excuses, same for both teams, let's just get on with it and smash the mancs or we only have ourselves to blame.

14.) 03 Oct 2017 22:07:17
God ed025, surely you should know by now that the fixture makers and tv studios are against LFC becoming great again and the only reason we aren’t is every bodies fault except our own?!?! 😂.

{Ed025's Note - i completely forgot about that westwood..

15.) 04 Oct 2017 08:44:35
In fairness, Liverpool will be in the exact same boat as United. It would be much less fair if it was, for example, Liverpool/ United vs Huddersfield where a bunch of players would have played 36 hours ago for one side, but the other would have had 2 weeks off.

16.) 04 Oct 2017 09:43:09
Be Positive boys we haven't lost a game in October in 7 years. Mooreen will park the bus happy days, just deal with the next game but be positive!

17.) 04 Oct 2017 16:59:21
It’s the same for both teams. Facts are that if they win it will be down to our poor defending and lack of quality in midfield as always, not the time of kick off. And let’s face it, on form they’re likely to batter us whatever time the kick off is at the moment,

18.) 04 Oct 2017 18:22:15
It makes no difference as the only team we will be playing is the team that also kick off at 12:30.

Get a grip, it's the same for both sides.

{Ed025's Note - absolutely mate..

19.) 05 Oct 2017 00:31:26
As an Aussie fan I'm pretty happy with the 12:30 kick off. Makes it a watchable time here.

20.) 06 Oct 2017 01:22:00
What are the busses like that time of the morning?

02 Jun 2017 16:26:57
John ruddy for the Alex manninger role?

Jezza kyle

1.) 02 Jun 2017 16:36:22
I think Grabara will take it.

2.) 02 Jun 2017 16:42:58
Although he's from the area I can't see him wanting to sit on the bench plus Suarez destroyed his confidence.

3.) 02 Jun 2017 16:55:55
wasn't ruddy a former bitternose?

4.) 02 Jun 2017 17:30:39
Shay Given.

5.) 02 Jun 2017 18:23:20
Ed002. Safe pair of hands.

6.) 02 Jun 2017 17:31:05
If Manninger was on 5.5k can't they just offer VVD that and replace Manninger with an academy lad, 3rd choice GK just seem an absolute waste of resources.

31 Oct 2016 23:31:03
Ojo has said today he's back running.

Jezza kyle

1.) 01 Nov 2016 03:08:40
Hope he's back to form soon, he strikes me as another potential Mane in the making. blessed with pace and dribbling ability, yet can also pass and score goals.

2.) 01 Nov 2016 10:14:23
Can't wait to see this lad, i'm not going to get excited about this news, not yet, ED1 said he may be back by the end of the season so I'm going to go on that, any earlier is a bonus! Would love to see him ready in January for when Mane is away but I can't see it, sounds a little too early.

How long can the club go on leaving the buvac situation open for? The players start back tomorrow surely they'll have to announce something either way?

Jezza kyle

1.) 01 Jul 2018 11:36:58
Surely in the coming days? I expect Linders to become assistant and thus a backroom shuffle will occur. Buvac is going to Fernerbahce isn't he?

2.) 01 Jul 2018 13:20:52
Don't think he got the Fener job after all. Philipp Cocu is listed as their coach.

3.) 01 Jul 2018 18:03:14
He should come back. I'd love him to and I reckon most fans would. Let's hope klopp was the one with the wand.

30 Jun 2018 10:30:23
In an article for Sky merson had said England not getting to the semi final would be a bad tournament because Columbia aren't great and after that it's Switzerland or Sweden to which he says "if you can't beat those to sides you're never winning the World Cup" he later goes on to tip Brazil to win the World Cup despite them drawing with Switzerland less that 2 weeks ago in the group phase. You really could not make it up.

Jezza kyle

1.) 30 Jun 2018 10:49:56
But they didn't loose.

2.) 30 Jun 2018 11:00:18
I agree with him lol I wouldn't usually but he's right in my opinion.

3.) 30 Jun 2018 11:16:10
Can’t beat Walter. That’s leaves 2 possible results a draw which is what I’m on about and losing which I’m not.

4.) 30 Jun 2018 11:25:49
Talking of opposition teams not being great. Didn’t we hear that about Iceland a couple of years ago? Some people have very short memories.

5.) 30 Jun 2018 11:00:18
I agree with him lol I wouldn't usually but he's right in my opinion.

6.) 30 Jun 2018 11:49:49
He said if you can’t beat Switzerland or Sweden you won’t win the World Cup. Then tipped Brazil to win the World Cup. Brazil drew with Switzerland 2 weeks ago. Brazil couldn’t beat Switzerland. And yet he still tips them to win the World Cup. Do I need to break it down any further?

{Ed002's Note - Why are you trying to make something of what he said? The entire post is a waste of time.}

7.) 30 Jun 2018 11:55:44
Sorry jezza wasn't being rude just pointing out they didn't loose which Merson was saying about not doing to win the tournament. All the best hope I didn't upset you.

8.) 30 Jun 2018 11:57:24
The mans an idiot, only kept around so the rest of the boys can laugh at his thickness. Too much of the powder back in the day. How can he say you don't deserve to win a world cup if you can't beat Switzerland and then say a team that hasn't beaten that same team will win it? And even more worrying is how can people on here agree with him?

9.) 30 Jun 2018 12:07:41
I wouldn’t listen to anything Paul Merson says. He doesn’t even get PL predictions right.

10.) 30 Jun 2018 12:23:44
He's got a point, we should be the strongest team in our quarter of the draw, not making the semis now would be underachieving.

11.) 30 Jun 2018 12:53:48
I don't know the statistics, but I doubt very much that there has been a World Cup Champion who did not draw or lose a game in preliminaries of the tournament. Perhaps somebody would care to look it up. Brazil, historically, start off as favorites, sputter along in the preliminaries, and then show their true value later on in the tournament (win or lose) . I just can't get my head around Germany being out already.

12.) 30 Jun 2018 14:02:15
England were ranked outside of the top 10 prior to the tournament, therefore quarter finals onwards should be considered a success. Currently they are on par.

Have people forgotten England got knocked out by Iceland 2 yrs ago?

13.) 30 Jun 2018 12:37:37
What a pointless post lol. gutted I spent time reading it lol.

14.) 30 Jun 2018 17:10:44
Totally pointless post. He’s right though and I’d tip Brazil to win it despite not beating Switzerland. Teams tend to get stronger as tournaments go on ( those that win it do anyway) England have lost one game and could easily have drawn that Tunisia game. The difference with Brazil is that you always believe they have it in their locker to go on and win a game when it matters. When was the last Time England did that? Last time they had an ‘easy’ draw they got knocked out by Iceland. Getting ahead of ourselves, should have played a better team and built some momentum, concentrate on beating the next team not worrying about who we may meet later on.

15.) 30 Jun 2018 18:24:11
That's true Swishcleaner. However, I'm of the belief that if England had have only got a draw against Tunisia, the full strength side would have been brought out against Belgium and won it.

16.) 30 Jun 2018 18:52:38
Good post Swish.

17.) 30 Jun 2018 21:25:16
Both teams wanted to lose without wanting to lose. Makes perfect sense.

I think we'll struggle with columbia but if we get the win then we can win it.

18.) 30 Jun 2018 21:57:38
Merson just jinxed it.

19.) 01 Jul 2018 00:48:23
Fluked an injury time win against Tunisia
Gubbed Panama
Lost to Belgium reserves.

Yeah we’re going to win the World Cup and when we don’t we’re going to analyse the life out of the squad in the papers for weeks after.

Add 4 years and repeat.

{Ed001's Note - glad I am not the only one who doesn't understand the hype about a poor England side. Wait until those 3 'defenders' at the back actually have to defend....}

23 Jun 2018 12:48:46
So de breuyne is a Liverpool fan! Sign him up.

Jezza kyle

1.) 23 Jun 2018 13:29:09
Jezza if only it was that easy mate. I would sit in the kop end naked if he ever signed not that he will and not that anyone wants to see me naked.

2.) 23 Jun 2018 13:44:13
I would sit next to you and if it was a cold day I'd shard my scarf.

3.) 23 Jun 2018 14:31:00
You're a true gentleman Negativeredwalter!

4.) 23 Jun 2018 14:38:20
Not as much as city wishing they bad keita next season.

5.) 23 Jun 2018 14:38:41
I think the invincible has zz nice ring to it.

20 Jun 2018 13:06:39
Exactly 3 years ago we signed joe gomez discuss:

Jezza kyle

1.) 20 Jun 2018 13:38:02
And he’s a jolly nice bloke with lots of talent. Have high hopes for him to get eased in to CB this year and to be a mainstay of the side season after next.

2.) 20 Jun 2018 13:55:35
Spot the teacher.

3.) 20 Jun 2018 14:02:43
Think he’s progressing as planned. He’s adapted to full back well although he’d prefer CB, understand that’s the option this season. He’s had good first team minutes and experience. Had his injuries but always came back with the same quality and reliability. Yes made mistakes, but he’s young and played out of favoured position, but he’s also had many occasions where he’s been one of the best defenders.
Easy 7/ 10 and looking if he continues as an easy 8/ 10 which is the standard required imo to be a Liverpool first team regular (no one is really 10/ 10 except the odd Italian defender) .

4.) 20 Jun 2018 14:35:47
He's a tall defender, wears number 12, and has a pretty average beard.

5.) 20 Jun 2018 14:49:57
Would be first choice by now if it wasn't for injures, really good talent who could be a Liverpool player for the next decade of he stays fit.

6.) 20 Jun 2018 15:47:01
Speaking of average beard's MK.

7.) 20 Jun 2018 15:55:38
Beard has to go tho.

8.) 20 Jun 2018 16:15:37
Hey Dexter, at least mine grows on my top lip! Joe is letting himself down with that chin strap 'thing'!

9.) 20 Jun 2018 16:24:48
I think he will be playing centre-back this season, but away on loan at a top flight English (or Scottish) club. He will then return to play centre-back for us next summer.

27 May 2018 16:37:20
So mo has a strain in his shoulder according to the Egyptian doctor who has seen the results of the x-rays carried out.

Jezza kyle

1.) 27 May 2018 16:57:30
No way, I got sworn at and abused last night on the live chat when I suggested he might not have broken or dislocated it. I guess the sofa doctors got it wrong.

2.) 27 May 2018 17:27:01
And they really did abuse you J23, full metal jacket assault.

3.) 27 May 2018 17:44:19
I saw it pop out as he hit the ground unless it popped back in.

4.) 27 May 2018 18:16:25
You can get something called a subluxation which is a bit like a partial dislocation where the humeral head comes out so far before flicking back in, therefore doesn’t fully dislocate. This would subsequently cause quite a bit of soft tissue trauma. Maybe that is what happened. If his rotator cuff was torn and needed surgery the World Cup would be out of question but if not he may well be ok to take some part.

Grujic doesn’t and never did have the mobility to play under klopp. He is nowhere near dynamic enough, he’s a very talented lad and I have little doubt should still go on to have a very good career elsewhere.

I work with a lad who played with him and also my boss knows someone to do with him. I posted a while back when the links to us started in the papers perhaps a month ago. The player wants to go to Arsenal and thinks he will get his wish. From the lads mouth via my colleague. Ed will be more accurate as regards to interest but I believe I know what the players wants/ hopes for.

This might be our year. Forget what’s best for him are we more likely to challenge and win the games and points nessacary to win the league with him in our side sometimes and on the bench others? Yes. Keep him. He owes us not us owe him we’ve paid him all the years he’s been injured now it’s his time to give back! This year we have to put the club the team first. No doubt next year we’ll sell mo and balance the books this is our chance we have the team we have the squad and we have the manager.

He covers more distance than OUR front 3 so he averaged over the whole season against our players who played every game and not from the bench bobby mane and mo. He is similar to Sanchez for me in his work rate while he was at Arsenal he works until he sees none of his oaf team mates are and then throws a fit and stops and that’s the bit most people pick up on the sulk afterwards. I’m not against signing him as you can probably tell from this post. I think everyone moans we’ve won nothing under klopp etc and says there’s no progress until we do but then they want to rely on untried kids mixed with poor squad players to win the cups adding players like Shaqiri will give us a far better chance in those cups. Personally I couldn’t care less if we don’t win a cup but finish in the CL places but other people want to use it as a stick to beat klopp with so I can see why he’s beefing up the squad with the kind of quality the other top clubs already have on their bench.
