Rumours that Steven Gerrard has been asked by klopp to join his coaching staff. No idea myself.

I can’t think for one moment what the logical point of bringing in a failed manager like Gerrard would be. Isn’t it bad enough that we have Pep Pulitzer on the coaching staff.

If you think egos are the problem Baz, Gerrard is the last person we should hire, especially in the context of Liverpool. I don't even know what the point of adding him to the coaching staff would be. Most reports suggest he was more of an "overseer" type of manager, leaving the training sessions to Gary MacAllister, Michael Beale and Neil Critchley. His Aston Villa side lacked any kind of playing identity. What exactly could he offer to Klopp when the actual coaching, training and tactics is not his forte?

Won a title in Scotland with one of the two sides who always win titles isn’t much of an achievement. Even Bodgers managed that, Jude. There’s no reason to have Gerrard at the club other than sentimental nonsense. He’s been found out at a higher level.

It's what I would do if I wanted Lijnders to get the hint, and nudge him, to move out? Plus see if Gerrard has the potential for the top job when Klopp moves on? At least there's some movement to shake up things a bit, since what's going on at present is not right by all accounts. If all this is true, of course.

By that argument dirt if City win their 6th title in 7 years come May has the Premier League not become Scotland? and in managing Villa was he not managing the equivolant of St Mirren? What did people expect, for Villa to become a top 4 team cos Stevie went there? Behave. As i said he's had two jobs, not going to be perfect by any stretch. can't really see how it could make us any worse than where we are now.

Hello Eds and fellow posters, My apologies for posting two negative replies tonight the reason being?

I receive my monthly aerospace company pension on the first Monday of every month, when i and my fellow work colleagues all retired in 2015. There is still about 20 of us left who regularly meet first monday every month, we have a £30 each Kitty to start off with and also use loyalty cards, we said we would meet in MO's on Great Charlotte Street next to Weatherspoons every first Monday in the month at Midday, unfortunately i would say 007 has rather over indulged on the whisky so will say Nighty Night, look forward to seeing you all again fit and able hopefully.

Mrs 007 has just brandished a Red Card to me that means i have to go to upstairs to Bow Bows sadly! she has never been the same since Dyche won his first game!

Fully fit and raring to go to me daily swim and gym in the town centre it's the quayside hotel that a certain Mr Hicks use to conduct his interviews from.

Forgot to add yesterday that i have never seen so many blue and white bob hats in the city centre like yesterday though it was very, very cold that was the obvious reason for it i suppose!

Dyche has said LFC "BLOOD" and efc "SWEAT" is what he wants on the efc shirts next Monday night, i am backing LFC to put "TEARS" on the efc shirts as well!
