No info on the price but was told by a reliable journalist friend that the club have accepted an offer from Al-Ittihad. I might have jumped the gun but I'd be surprised if it isn't announced in the next 24 hours. I suppose the club might be working heavily on a replacement before any announcement.

He hasn't seen it anywhere, because it's simply not true.

It’s on the echo, a bud has been mooted for days so maybe it’s true? Looks like the midfield revamp is turning into more of a massacre.

It's on Fabrizio Romanos twitter feed. that's his reliable journalist friend.

Llorente in?

If Hendo, Fabinho and/ or Thiago exits came to fruition and Liverpool lacked experience and leadership, I wonder if (as an example) a player such as Wijnaldum becomes an option? As he is one who knows the Liverpool way, I would have thought he could be an excellent squad option if affordable. However, as a counterpoint to the excitement for 'cash' for our experienced players, I wonder if the acquisition of similar squad options are going to be further challenged and limited by a new cash rich league being established in Saudi Arabia. Current opportunities could pose a longer term issue given the race to the gulf this summer.

We can’t replace Fabinho with Wijnaldum, when we haven’t yet replaced Wijnaldum ?.

So any two of,

Llorente / Thuram / Lavia with Trent, Szoboszlai and Mac Allister

vs

Hendo, Fabs, Thiago, Millie, Naby, Ox ….

Add Baj, Curtis and Harvey to bth - which would people prefer for the 23 / 24 season?

I would just like to go on the record and say on the whole, Fabinho was superb for liverpool fc.

He did everything that was required, was a massive part of our trophy winning period and paid off his transfer fee with his performances.

Thank you Fabinho! i will never forget that screamer vs Man City and how reliable he was from the penalty spot.

Great move for Fabinho if true and it would be great business for LFC.

There is a rumour that it could be 40M incoming for LFC, I personally doubt Hendo will leave mind you, so that will leave Jones, Elliot, Hendo, MacAllister and Trent as experienced midfield options with Baj and Sobo as the lesser experienced players.

I would not be surprised if Fabs leaves and someone arrives immediately.

Love how LFC are mastering transfers.
