Monday morning, the thought of watching Mane tear it up in the CL, that massive grin on his face, with somebody elses kit. It’s breaking my heart 🙁😭.

Ultimately, as Ed002 always says, the players are transient employees, so him going and playing for someone else is a consequence of that relationship.

To be honest, I’m fine with him and Salah going as long as we get some money in and we bring someone else in to replace their goals that we will miss.

14 goals in the last 4 champions league campaigns. not exactly ripping the competition a new one, we can replace Manê's output from the last 2 seasons (being mostly average last two seasons), Salah will be much harder to eventually replace.

We need new blood. Mane has been great for us and we have been good this season, but 0 goals in 3 cup finals and not beating any of the other top 4 is ringing alarm bells for me. Not saying it’s entirely his or even Salah’s fault, it’s a collective endeavour, but we do need a refresh. Their carry on in interviews hasn’t been acceptable either. Bring in some young hungry lads who actually want to be here instead.

AW, the refresh or fresh blood you are screaming about has already been in motion since the summer of 2020. If you looked hard enuff, you would see it and it is actually STILL ongoing. Chill out and pay attention.

Every great team has a time when their top players get to an age that means it is good business to move them on to receive a fee. LFC did it on many occasion man united did it on many occasions Arsenal did it to and Man City will do it when their top players get to a certain age it is all part of football.

The problem is bringing in the right replacements that fit in to the team pattern, the clubs ethos, the other players, the managers ideas . All the superstar names being mentioned may not fill all of the above I have mentioned I have full confidence in Liverpool FC to bring in the staff needed as they did many times before.
