The most worrying thing for me is who can you rely on next season? Can you even rely on Klopp to give the job 100%?

None of the midfield are first choice starters, you can't rely on any of them. I fear we need 3 midfielders of which 2 need to be first choice starters. What's happened to Curtis Jones he's 8th choice at best. This is probably his last chance to grab a starting place and he can't make the bench, even with Thiago and Keita injured.

Mark I love Klopp mate and this upcoming window is huge for him. I’m not sure the man himself would be able to go next season with a similar one to this.

He’s used to winning and competing for trophies and this must hurt him.

FSG don’t buy the players but they will set the budget.

It’s all well and good saying next season will be better but for me we are at a crossroads and it’s extremely important which road we take because if any fans know how long the fall from the top can be then it’s us.

I am more worried about our defense. Bar Konate all should be sold! We need two new starting center backs and both must be top draw, then we need three central midfielders! That’s 5 already!

I don't rate konate. Not sure what he offers other than pace. Poor positionally, no long range passing and struggles to cover trents runs. Ok 3rd choice that's about it.

Konate is the best we have got today. If you don’t rate him, Fine by me then we need 3 or more new center backs ??.

{Ed077's Note - he misses games far too regularly though. He needs to stay fit for an elongated period and at games back to back. For now he's still unreliable because of his fitness

I agree LFC are at the crossroads this summer? when Jurgen first took the job as an outsider he knew what to do, now as a resident insider i hope he again knows what to do.

It's far harder to overcome the club problems when you are the residing manager, than being a totally new manager as many, many football club managers have found out to their cost in the past and sadly will so in the future generations to come!

I can't think of anyone else that I'd rather trust. Maybe Weghorse (sic) as player manager but we don't need any more forwards, do we?

There are "Four Quarters" that make a Whole team i. e. Goalie, Defence, Midfield and Attack.

According to you we are 25% okay then, i would argue we are 50% okay (Attack and Goalkeeper Position) what about the other 50%, which is "HALF" the team Midfield and Defence?

Klopp has more than earned the right to rebuild the verscheel he built into an absolute winning machine so I have NO doubt that he is the right man for the job despite the mistakes I think he has made.

That said, there are some big decisions to be made moving forward so the question becomes whether he has the fortitude to make them.

I personally think we'll be fine next season. Top 4 minimum.
I don't see the rot set in like others have, but obviously we still need to keep the evolution of the team going.

Klopp has earned a season to put this right. Top 4 has to be a minimum requirement though. As much as I hate to say it but if we miss too 4 this year (not nailed on but likely i would say) and next year then I think he’ll need to go.

Yeah it’s evolution because we are transitioning into the next version of ourselves with new players up front and a totally new front line with different strengths compared to what we’ve had.

I can appreciate it’s not what we wanted but Last I checked we aren’t in a relegation battle and we have something to play for this season. I don’t imagine many on here fancying that Arsenal were on the right track until right now…. retool next season, an off season for the attackers and we’ll be right back at it next season. I have no worries about that at all.
