Think another poster mentioned this a while ago, but just saw Saliba is close to entering the last year of his contract and hasn't agreed a new one yet

Is that right? Quality player, could he be tempted? Also, how bad is his injury? Does he play lcb or rcb?

Doubt Arsenal would let him go but he was having a great season until his injury - will he recover ok?

For Arsenal i've only ever seen him play RCB. He is a very good player though. No idea what his injury is or how serious it is either.

Personally I think he'll stay at Arsenal. It would seem silly to leave after they've had such a good season to come to Liverpool when we're clearly in transition.

I think Saka did or is very close to, agreeing a bumper new deal at Arsenal. Excellent player, they have put together a very decent young team.

His injury is something that's not so serious at all, but could simultaneously potentially be a career long problem.

He plays RCB. We expect him to sign a new deal. When he does leave, a more realistic destination would be Paris or Madrid - he isn't going to liverpool lol.

I reckon Arsenal would have got a lot closer to winning the title if Saliba hadn’t got injured.

Saka just got his bag if 300k a week on a new deal while Martinelli just got his 200k a week on a new deal as well, I read somewhere. Saliba? He’s not signed a new deal yet but I reckon he’ll sign a new one even tho Ed01 said he’s hesitating due to how Arteta incompetently messed him about sending him out on useless loans and was forced to put him back in the team.

For me, the kid is immense. Him and Gvardiol are the future at CB and imo, anyone that gets either of both these kids would have a top CB on their hand, no doubt. Are we interested? I don’t think so but we should keep tabs on him, IMO.

Thanks Sir Wenger, awk it was tongue in cheek lol, no way he'd join Liverpool but the kid is a cracker and I hope he fully recovers from his injury and quickly regains his form - it will be very interesting to see just how high his ceiling is

WDW2 is right tbh, how much closer would you be to that title if he didn't get injured?
