I see that on this day 1991 Peter Beardsley was sold to Everton. Souness was a fantastic player but a twat of a manager. Ed001 why was he sold do you know?

Yeah he replaced Steve Staunton with Dicks that was pure genius. Staunton Up there with Robbo as our best left back in my time following the club. He had one hell of a left peg.

I’m not going against the info Ed dropped, I have heard of a reason as to why PB was sold, I also met PB.
What I heard was very juicy re PB and his actions with a neighbour (I was told who), which caused an incident in the dressing room, the time was v Everton and those FA cup matches, there was a replay? 4-4 one of the games?
There were words with PB (again I know the name), claims that boots had been thrown, with a quote- “I’ve done my Fing job, now you do yours “. There was fallout after that event that I can expand on.
