Well done to Hughes and his team, played the transfer window superbly except for being a tad unlucky with the Guehi fiasco.

Great window. Hughes has given Slot the resources any manager would dream of.
Slot now has the job of getting all these players grounded and working hard as a team. No easy job with so many new faces.
No better example out there than Real Madrid and Barcelona last year. We need these stars gelling together and working hard both on and off the ball to succeed. Names on the back of jerseys don't win the title.
We re favourites to win the league. We have to accept that and own it. No getting away from it.
But there's still a mountain of work to reach that target.
We are only 9 to 99.
Exciting times. Can't wait for next game at Burnley.

Glasner has a history of hissy fits. He’ll hopefully go to Man U within a year and hasten their decline. Hopefully, we won’t be hidebound by this HG factor when we choose a Virgil successor.

Maybe if we had gone in with a bid sooner, we might have got it over the line. Obviously Palace needed to get a replacement in, before sanctioning the move.

An incredible window with a series of high-stakes pursuits - ok, one didn't come off but the ones that did are such incredibly good players that we will forget rather quickly.
In all honesty, I was much more relaxed about Guehi once Leoni was in. I have no qualms about Leoni having to play games sooner rather than later.

Palace said they needed two replacements. The young lad from Toulouse was bought, but Glasner scared off Igor from Brighton on the final day by saying he wouldn’t get much game time apparently. The Palace manager has wrecked matters. He has previous. Guehi will continue to turn out, but Hughes must be very wary of Glasner.
