What's peoples opinion of Flo Wirtz recent performances, I think he's done well in the last couple of games he's almost been our box to box midfielder up and down the middle despite being part of the 3 in front of a 2 behind a 1?

He has been better but so far the signing has been a disaster.

He’s been good. He can be better. Though, despite the flack that he’s gotten this season, I think him, szobo, and Chiesa are the outfield players who have seemed proud to wear the shirt. The rest are collecting checks.

I don’t think we can level lack of effort at the likes of Connor, Kerkez or Robbo. They just don’t seem comfortable with the system, and a bit lost. Same with Wirtz. Szob has been the only standout player. Ekitike has been pretty good. Ali looks injured, but has been ok when he’s played. Jo has been ok.
I’d put Konate, Grav, Macca, VVD, Mo, Marm, Curtis and Gakpo into the must and could do better category. Actually with a few of them I’m not sure they can lift it.
The other one that’s disappointed more than others for me is Isak. I think it’s his style rather than anything, but he just walks around a lot. I want more from a centre forward regardless of who they are, and if it’s due more to injury recovery and fitness don’t play him. The first team isn’t the place to get fitness unless we’re winning games comfortably.

Fair point Spritz. I think van dijk may be the one I’m most frustrated with. Instead of putting forth extra and taking matters into his own hands, he seems content with just whining at the team. Konate has been far from glorious but I think he’s taking a lot of flack due Van Dijks way.

Bmena-red, as we have said, if the team is suffering playing in a wretched system that makes them look bad then, clearly that should affect Wirtz's performances, no?
Hence if the team has been a disaster then Wirtz's performances (even tho good to very good in patches) should be a microcosm of said collective tactical disaster, should it not?

Isak seems to have a problem with running. A supreme lack of effort and urgency, he's definitely not a worker!
