I think the key word in Rome's second post is 'allegedly' and that's why I feel the same.
I don't know anything about Slot's personal life or about his approach to his job. I have read rumours about both but that is all they are so I find it difficult to get too involved in it.
I try and judge him by results, the way we are playing and maybe some other variables without listening to too much hearsay.
I don't even know what he said tonight but I do know that it can be taken out of context by fans that have already made their minds up about him.
Similarly, I'm not blinkered by winning tonight, being unbeaten in eleven and the fact that we won the League last season.
It's probably an age thing- or just apathy- but I don't want to know too much about what is going on behind the scenes. I just want to watch the games and have the craic on here and with my other football mates.
My lad is completely the opposite. He's always reading up on rumours and conspiracies and he's more interested in them than the games, at times.
I've also seen a lot of success and the club go through tragedies and that possibly makes me more content with the old bird. Or again, it could be just apathy.
We've been a lot better and we've been a lot worse- it will always be like that- but we're in a good place, at the moment.

Like you @Rigsby, I'm in it for the football. The rest of the stuff, the 'x' doesn't like 'y', z dresses up in women's clothes on a Sunday etc, is just background chatter.
What matters to me is we play good football, which surely is the whole point of the game - we play the best we can, we entertain people and because we play well we win things.

Sorry, I replied to the wrong post. Obviously, it was meant for the one about Slot not being fully committed to the club and Rome's replies.
Cheers, WDW. Rome is a good poster. We don't always agree but you can have a debate with them and they are not a superfan. That's just a lazy term used because someone offers a different opinion and some balance to a discussion.
It's surprising how quickly these rumours and urban myths snowball, too. They've made up their minds about Slot but still look for things to attack him with. It'll be the same with Alonso, Enrique, Gerrard or whoever does the job next.
