Am I the only one that feels a bit like we got robbed yesterday? First half we were on the back foot but I wouldn't call many of the 10 chances that clear cut apart from maybe two. We were then in the City half for the first 30 minutes of the second half and had several chances to score before the wonder strike, Eti and Wirtz both should have scored before that.

How does Guehi's not get considered stopping a clear goal scoring opportunity but Ali's does when the ball is 5 yards out of touch when the contact is made?

I by no means think Slot is the right manager, but if this was last season we'd be on here talking about how we got robbed by the refs (like spurs last year) versus talking solely about slot being inept.

Robbed of joy and passion? Yes.

I agree the refs were terrible and appear biased for $ity, but when your house is flooding, does it make sense to stop and acknowledge that rain is wet?

The current emergency is that Slot needs to go. Once that is taken care of we can get back to talking weekly about how the refs in this league are terrible and biased.

@Mana, my only beef was on the interpretation of the pen. Vs Arsenal, Wirtz sufferred the same thing and I agreed (and said so at the time) that it was not a pen because the ball was a bit too far away when Trossard barged him clumsily off the ball.

So with Nunes touching the ball away from Ali, it shouldn't have been a pen either because had Ali let him go n not tried to touch slap the ball away, the ball is out of play well before Nunes gets to it. That's my only prob. A lack of consistency.

Apart from that, we only played well for 35 mins in the game of 97 mins plus. Not good enuff if you want to beat a team like City, even in it's weaker form comapered to the past.
