Is Zabarnyi still being discussed as a purchase or loan to purchase option for us? Was reported here last week or previous week, just wondering if there's been any progress on a deal or is it dead in the water?

Just slow at the moment, Macca. Lots of posturing, World Cup still to be concluded, some players still on holiday. I expect it will all pick up pace next week and towards the back end of the month.

No arguments between him and Murillo also touted. Think they are the two best candidates, especially Zabarnyi, ticks more boxes, played for Andoni already, had Kerkez also as one of his full backs. That's 50% or half your back four who already know the new Andoni System to be implemented. That's a huge advantage for a quicker, seamless transition.
