The window lags on and I've yet to see any real movement to improve central midfield. There's no real interest in anyone to go straight in. It's all if Macca leaves nonsense. If Dom gets injured, there's nothing there. We lack serious quality in there.
An entire summer chasing Barcola.
Last summer we needed a CB and look at how that transpired.

Agreed, Ron. We require quality all over the pitch. Anyone who thinks otherwise is away with the fairys.

We're not Real. We don't buy quality to sit on the bench. We never have. Ekitike was the exception because Isak is injury-prone and needs minutes managed. Hopefully that will change in the not-too-distant future when we move to The Amazon Superdome under new ownership.

It will be unpopular, Ron, but I don't think Wirtz and Dom can play in the same 3.
Way too open. That leaves either Wirtz playing left and Dom as 10 - or they are rotated in the 10.
Which goes to the point on the transfer strategy by the STC.

@RonF, Presumably we had a couple of days off chasing Barcola to get Munoz and Araujo? Nice to see those two and Jacquet looking comfortable in the surroundings - bodes well.
