The club will confirm Arne Slot is leaving at the end of the season in the 1st week of May. Either side of the games with Man Utd and Chelsea.
Cue the forthcoming BBC Sports Headline: Breaking news: Arne Slot to leave Liverpool. Expect LFC media to gush positives about Slot, winning the title and how Slot's wishes to return home to be closer to his family.
Then the following week the club will announce Xabi Alonso as the next LFC Manager to start on 1st June.

Take that as you will.

Interesting, I thought they might keep Arne's leaving announcement until the end of the season. Despite what journos are reporting, it seems it's in the club's best interests to move on. Again, like I said, I wouldn't be shocked if his next club is Ajax.

I get the impression that support for Slot between the fans in the ground and those watching differs quite a lot. ?? If Salah can announce he’s leaving then why can’t Slot fall on his sword now? The wave of positivity and enthusiasm that would flow from players and fans will give a well needed boost to ensure we achieve top 5, which will be catastrophic if we don’t!?.

I'm going to believe you purely because I want it to happen.

No chance they announce it before the season's over, not after they've pushed the idea that he's staying so hard.

But will it be announced at 6pm, 9pm, or midnight?

People are forgetting that Slot also wants to go back to Holland to be closer to his family. He has struggled to settle in Liverpool city, and it is evident by how often he travels back home. Being away from his family for a prolonged period is bound to affect his mental health and outlook.
This is mutual consent in every sense of the word...
not a sacking masked by such a phrase.
Performances have dropped off, players are frustrated with style of play & tactics, and it shows on and off the pitch.
We should remember King Kenny's last season with us, won us the League Cup & got us to FA Cup final, but that wasn't enough to keep his job as performances were dire, plus we finished 7th or 8th.
