I used to live in Southport in the early 90s. I became friends with the local tennis pro. Years later his hairdresser married into the family of someone connected with LFC.
We have kept in contact over the years sharing bits of insider news.
Anyway, as an amazing coincidence he had a son and the hairdresser had a daughter who now cuts his son’s hair and she’s also the partner of one of the players in the youth team.
And he’s said that she said that Slot is almost definitely gone and he’s the only one of the coaches who hasn’t booked in for a hair cut recently.
I think that nicely sums it up…
