Potassium, I see one of your replies stating how reliable Ornstein then doubting Fields Robbo VG and Carra.
Ornstein is just another mouthpiece talking crap most of the time.
Only got to look at his articles on Slot and how he was staying, yet our fantastic four stayed steadfast that he was gone.

If you don’t want to believe them, just scroll down, but don’t call them guys given great info week in, week out.
Ned’s taking a break. We don’t need to lose anymore like him.

Ornstein continually said that Slot wasn't going anywhere when our ITK continually said that Slot was going.

What is this post? Were you too far down the replies and wanted to get noticed?

Awww bless.

Beddoerocks, yeah that's exactly right. I wanted to make sure he saw my post to him and to him and everyone else that keeps having a go at the posters that go out of their way to make this site what it is.
Banter on here is sometimes fantastic, some very witty stuff, but then the crap that people get for sharing info if it doesn't happen that day is ridiculous.

So I wanted my post to be a new one for everyone to see. Yes, thought it would have gone in the banter section, but even better in the main page for more people to see because 99% of the people on here appreciate them and just as much as them 4 are people are sick of the stick they get.
You can have a difference of opinion, but there is no need for the abuse they get.

Yet you don't have a problem slagging Slot or players, Grino?
Double standards much?

15 Jul 2026 09:37:49
Slot and the players are unlikely to read these posts. Those who post here are. It's a bit of a difference.

15 Jul 2026 09:49:06
Flash, I have slagged Slot, players, not sure about that one. I was disappointed in a few players last season, the likes of Frimpong, Gakpo, for their performances, but not really said anything bad about them because if they give their all, they can do little more.
But, as for Slot, I stand by every word I said because it was not an ability thing with Slot, it was a commitment. He did not want the job from February 2025, but did not want to give up his salary. He could have walked at the end of the first season, a legend, but he chose to destroy all the legacy while ripping off all the fans that pay good money to follow the club all over the world.

The standards he set last season were nothing short of disgraceful, then we had Salah getting stick for standing up to it.
But, also my posts were shared on here and not directed at Slot because I know he was not viewing this site, he was too busy in Ibiza.
I get my views on Slot might have been a bit over the top, and maybe he deserved more respect, but I would have liked him to show the fans that work hard all week and pay a lot of money to go to games some respect by getting the players fit enough to compete every game.

15 Jul 2026 11:28:31
Slot did deserve more respect than you gave him. grino. You called him a 'vile rat'.
And I wonder what you'd have thought of him had he walked away after one season ?.

15 Jul 2026 16:48:08
Rigsby, if he had walked at the end of the season because of family issues, I would have nothing but respect for him for delivering a league title but then putting his family first.
He owed us nothing, so that would not have been a problem. It was the joy he stole from fans because of the one thing everyone in that job should at least give, commitment.
So kids who would have gone last season as a special treat might never get to go again, and because of Slot's lack of commitment, their special day was destroyed because of his greed.
He got paid £6m a year, and I am sure got great bonuses for the league, so he did not need the money.

If you compare his commitment to Klopp, it was never in the same league. Klopp would have never just hung around for that last season just for his £12m a year and not give 100%.
Shankley would have dragged Slot out of the club by the scruff of his neck for his utter disrespect of the fans.
So I stand by my view of Slot, and no one will ever change that.
It was not Slot he had the issue with; it was his actions, and I never want to feel that about any Liverpool manager.

15 Jul 2026 17:30:14
Grino, you've already said, on more than one occasion, that you stand by what you said about Slot, so I don't expect you to change your mind. You shouldn't tell us about respect though, when you dehumanise the head coach of the club for not being very good at his job for a season.
And it's funny that no one mentioned Slot's lack of commitment the season before. I'm not saying it's untrue, but there isn't enough evidence for me to believe it enough to start calling him a 'vile rat' and hating him.

That was you, as well, wasn't it?
Until I know more, I'll file Slot's lack of commitment, stealing a living and robbing the children of treats alongside Jota's injuries being down to his PlayStation activities and the growing list of players disrespecting the club and fans by fulfilling their contracts.

15 Jul 2026 19:08:05
I think it's wild that someone would call a league winning manager, or any Liverpool manager, for that matter, a "vile rat", if that's what he said.

Supporters used to have more respect. It's a bit sad if I'm honest.......

16 Jul 2026 08:37:45
"vile rat" was followed up by "scumbag".
I genuinely thought you had a but more class than that Grino.
It appears I was way off the mark.
Double standards indeed.
