Great result against Brighton.
Aroujo again outstanding. Surely we are 100% taking that option to buy.
I genuinely thought he was a panic signing when we brought him in. I remember reading that some of the barca fans were laughing at us for getting him.
We absolutely love an underdog at Liverpool and its working out for him so far.
Thought wirtz looked much more like the man we thought we were getting.
Big improvement from him but still not near his best (in a good way)
Hoping isak and barcola are starting to click. The pace of barcola is unreal and isak is slotting the goals away too now. Everything seems to be clicking slowly but surely.

Just had a little nosey on their page and its mad. They talk about buying managers as if its buying a tin of beans.
"Oh we will sign x or y but maybe we should hold out for z. he's doing really well at his current club"
Who in their right mind would go there at the minute. Surely its seen as a poisoned chalice right now. That club seems to be rotten from top to bottom and would need a miracle worker to get a tune out of that side.
Wonder what the odds are for both manc sides to be relegated this season!?

Wirtz upturn in form coincides with Sob being out. IA has big decisions to make in a good way.

Assist against LASK, assist against Brentford, goal against Villareal and what was essentially a goal against Brighton. 4 consecutive games where he has made a positive impact on the pitch.

Last three matches have yielded a goal and 2 assists (plus his shot that forced an own goal). General touches and swagger have been improved and passes have been more creative and decisive. He doesn't look terrified to make a mistake. That small mind shift will do wonders.

He has improved Ed - it's small steps but the group in general are showing signs of improving & buying into Iraol's playing style and actually looking like they're starting to enjoy their football again.
It's easy to forget but this group of players were on their arse confidence wise for the best part of last season so credit to the manager for getting their mindset right.
Winning games with a better team spirit will only help Wirtz even further.
{Ed025's Note - I think the manage is doing a fine job BR. But I’m not convinced by the 3 prima Donna’s who cost all the money mate. But if you are happy with them that’s fine by me..
