Alright boys I Carnt find anything on the subject so sorry if it has been asked before but is there anything new on our main sponsorship deal with standard charter as it is coming to an end?

I believe that the club will be looking for £80m a year. So they will be look at other options just in case I'd say.

There was some talk of the club considering a cryptocurrency sponsor, but have no idea as to how true that is or to how far that idea went. I guess in the end Standard Chartered will pony up the money and that's it.

@Barry, I think the current deal with Standard is £40m.

There was a discussion on the forum that said we were casting around for potential alternatives but we’re also still negotiating with Standard.

A few days later someone came on here and said that a new deal a £80m a tear had been agreed. Neither the club or Standard Chartered has confirmed this so perhaps the claim was of a ‘speculative’ nature.

The list of potential alternative sponsor (s) did actually make mention of cryptocurrency companies so that may be a potential option.
