It's not just Edwards look at the whole data science team that play a big role in who our targets should be, Ian Graham is another one of the team we should all be thanking.
{Ed0666's Note - there’s a good article in the Liverpool echo today about the analytics team and the way they contribute towards transfer targets. Their a mixture of chess masters, astrophysicists etc. Amazing how advanced scouting is now.

Thanks for the article tip Ed666 - I watched a doco on youtube called the numbers behind football (or similar) and even Forest Green are at it all be it on a limited budget only having one data scientist, Brentford are another club who are successful at this as well.
{Ed0666's Note -No worries mate yeh apparently us, Brentford and one other club whose name escapes me are the best in the business at the analytical thing.

Ed0666, I think the other club you are looking for that does the analytics thing as good as us and Brentford, is AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie. I listened to a podcast with Billie Beane, the creator of the Moneyball concept and he said that AZ Alkmaar, Brentford and LFC do this system and are the best at it.
He said the proof was that Alkmaar would be nowhere near Ajax in the title race had it not been for this data analytics concept. Same with Brenford who do it the exact way LFC does it but with less resource and would b nowhere near getting promotion to the PL had it not been for Moneyball.
As for LFC and based on other members of the top 6 having outspent LFC since Klopp arrived, the way we do our Data Analytics was the great equalizer that allowed us to achieve all the stuff we have even tho, we are are not spending as much.
{Ed0666's Note - Thankyou for remembering mate it was AZ you’re right. I’m just afraid that soon enough all teams will be using the same system hence neutralizing our advantage. Klopp will just have to up his Clandestine player meetings in blackpool to keep us ahead of the opposition.
