Hi Ed's, really love the website and appreciate the hard work. Just wondering what are your thoughts on Minamino and what the messiah Jürgen Klopp thinks of him. Is he thought to have potential in his career at Liverpool?

For me, he's got the talent no doubt. I suspect it hasn't been easy to join the club in January, try to integrate to a squad that is essentially a well-oiled winning machine and then have it disrupted with a global C.V.. He'll come good. I'm sure of it. From what little I have seen so far I think he's better centrally than he is out side - whether than be a false 9 or a classic 10 position.

People completely underestimate just how difficult it is for new players to come into a team full of championship-winning players.

I factually felt really sorry for him on the stage last night. It’s clear to see that the squad have a great rapport with each other but he just looked the odd one out. I hear he is extremely shy. Was great to see Hendo grab hold of him and lead him to the front to get his pic with the trophy though.

I saw that as well JK looked very uneasy but I've a good feeling about him even tho Ed025 doesn't but then what does he know.

I saw that as well. He seems an introvert and looked like the new kid in school. Hopefully a preseason and some time at the club will see him come out of his shell. I have a good feeling about him and seezing that video made me like him even more.

BarryinLouth, Ed25 should focus more on correctly evaluating the dross at his Neverton instead of continuing to get it wrong judging LFC players BUT I know he won't, lol.
As for Mino, LFC have been scouting this kid for about 4 years now, according to David Maddock and his awesome performance at Anfield only served to confirm (as if it needed any more confirmation on the scouting side) what they already thought of him already.
As JK said, it is tough for him to get into this gang of brothers who have so much history together which has banded them together and make them stronger. The fact that he is shy as well, does not help cos often, Japanese players are not culturally outspoken or outgoing.
The hope is he can get acclimatized with the squad during preseason which is when bonds are created within the squad and that can help him settle cos IMO, the guy is just too talented.
{Ed025's Note - pre-season will be a big help to him....so long as its no breezy and he gets blown over.. :)

Hi Ed002 thanks for the update, is it safe to assume that because manes representatives are talking to Barcelona his is looking to move or it’s more of a case of exploring his options.
