If found guilty how about city get an eye-watering fine, the PL divides the money by 19 and gives it to the other teams to gift to their local charities. If only the world really worked like that.
For a more realistic punishment how about a points deduction of maybe 15 to probably stop them winning the next season. And a season transfer ban like Chelsea got with a fine.
But all this title stripping is just desperate, I wonder if fans will be demanding such harsh punishments when our club is put under the microscope.
{Ed025's Note - good point mate..

Not that I'm saying you're wrong because I totally agree it is time for Bobby to move on, but it highlights how hypocritical it is when some fans crab a player for wanting to leave (Sterling or Coutinho) labelling them traitors or not being loyal enough. Where in the next breath they'll say another player is past it or not good enough so get rid.

I'm surprised people aren't more excited about the idea of Mount signing, I think the lad is the real deal but has been wasted by his last two managers by being played in a none position halfway between a winger and a CAM.
Not that I think he'll leave Chelsea anyway, especially if they signed his mate Rice Rice baby.

Could there not be an option C of a loan move for the lad, maybe to a top end championship club or perhaps up at Rangers, surely McGregor must be towards the end of his playing days.
I know it's missing your point about raising funds, but if it's about the player I think it's time to see if he is going to be the real deal or just a very good back up.

I bet the kid does more in 5 months than Keita has during his time in England.
Not Liverpool related I know but how on earth does Martinez keep failing up! Not that I begrudge the guy but its baffling, just read Eds daily roundup and see Roberto has landed himself the Portugal job. How do you go from getting a decent Wigan team relegated, to doing an average job at Everton, fall into the Belgium job wasting an incredibly talented squad, then land at Portugal. He must be excellent in an interview, how long can the guy dine out on an FA cup win.
