Hi all, really enjoying the season so far, so happy with everything the club is acheving. Just a though on sahko, please don't shoot as i don't much about the situation, without sounding naive could mamadou not have gone to the boss for an honest one to one and humbly apologised for messing up and worked his arse off to prove he wanted to make things up? Could this not have saved his career here or at least made it better for him for any future move? Or has he no interest in doing so?

Irish9kev

{Ed002's Note - Klopp wants him gone - and that is pretty much it.}

1.) 17 Jan 2017 14:32:42
Such a waste of tallent. He had come into is own under klopp and was playing really well. Shame

2.) 17 Jan 2017 18:31:53
It seems to be a character flaw, in a few of the player interviews I've seen when the interviewer asks "Who is always late? " the general response is Sakho. I am a big fan of Sakho, gutted we won't see him and Matip play together - could have been great. However if Klopp makes exceptions for basic things like time management for some players it weakens his position with the whole squad with regards to the fairness, and I think more significantly flies in the face of the spirit Klopp is trying to foster within the team.

These Men are supposedly professionals and if despite warnings you're still consistently late to team meetings it's showing a lack of respect for the coaching and playing staff.

3.) 17 Jan 2017 18:47:10
First of all, I am a huge Sahko fan. Having said that, Klopp runs a very tight ship and no screw ups especially by repeat offenders, will nor should be tolerated. When you start tolerating misconduct due to a player`s talent and so on, that is a recipe for disaster in your quest to build as strong bond and structure of respect and accountability btw players and coaches.

4.) 18 Jan 2017 03:24:44
He must really have messed up big.

As anyone can see from an ability point of view that the squad would be stronger with Sakho in it.

Has something else happened to have made a rapprochement possible?

The club financially is paying top wages to a top player who is playing in the reserves.

Hi, all very early but up to now what would be your most memorable klopp moment or quote?
Mine would have to be "this could be a very special day if we want it, if we want it"

"You're taking longer than Simon Mignolet taking a kick. "

in response to a reporter who taking too long to ask a question.

2.) 30 Nov 2015 10:00:26
"This wasn't our best performance but it was our best performance with a strong wind I have seen until now"
Post-Swansea.

3.) 30 Nov 2015 08:32:00
In England, Everyone wants Transfers, I prefer Training.

4.) 30 Nov 2015 11:20:23
kovacic*^^^.

5.) 30 Nov 2015 14:02:14
"It is normal. "

". for players to play against their former clubs"

6.) 30 Nov 2015 14:47:44
On why he loves Football - 'because you can beat better teams, if you play better together'

I'm really starting to believe hecan make the sum of the parts much more.

edd1 and indeed anyone, out of who has came in whom are you looking forward to see playing the most, or expecting the most from?

Irish9kev

{Ed001's Note - Firmino.}

1.) 04 Aug 2015 06:18:26
Firmino for me. He is a top player. Sometime you need to pay over the odds to get the right player.

2.) 04 Aug 2015 07:36:24
EG, while I agree that Firmino is a quality player, the fact we paid significantly more than any other team offered for him, is quite frankly ludicrous and ridiclous. Then people wonder why this club has no money when we continue to waste it.

3.) 04 Aug 2015 07:36:10
Ed001, ever get the feeling your being stalked?

{Ed001's Note - always mate! It is even more worrying as I noticed someone had been going through the bins here last night.....}

4.) 04 Aug 2015 07:56:04
Brisbane

I agree with your sentments, But what are the other attractions for the player to join us?
No CL
NO Title
No Star Names

I am a firm believer, had we not bought Firmino, The club would have wasted it anyways on another potential player?

5.) 04 Aug 2015 08:16:54
The expectations on Firmino has been raised firmly. I still think it best to not expect him to be a world-beater. I would be surprised if he scored and assisted in double figures.

6.) 04 Aug 2015 08:28:57
Benteke for me

7.) 04 Aug 2015 08:42:22
Forget about his price.
By the end of the season he might look ridiculously cheap at that price you never know.

8.) 04 Aug 2015 08:50:11
The fact we paid more for him than any other team was prepared to pay, shouldn't have any reason not to look forward to seeing him play. The players worth to the club should be judged at the end of his contract.

9.) 04 Aug 2015 08:54:57
Hahahahaha ED001, I think a certain young poster will be getting night vision goggles for his Birthday, whatever you do ED, don't buy a bunny rabbit or a large black cocking pot!

{Ed001's Note - a cocking pot? I don't think I want to even know what a cocking pot it!!!}

10.) 04 Aug 2015 09:19:31
Defo Benteke he could be the difference between 4th an 5th

11.) 04 Aug 2015 10:49:41
It's a fatal attraction reference ED, you may be a touch to young to remember that movie.

12.) 04 Aug 2015 10:51:55
Hahahahaha, what a big dope I am ED, didn't even notice that typo, hahahahaha what a tot, 😆😆😆

13.) 04 Aug 2015 11:18:46
When and why did fans get completely obsessed with prices. I know I've said it before but leave that to the people that know the ins and outs rather than looking at it from miles away and making judgements on nothing more than the word of other people. let's just focus on what they do on the pitch I don't mind wether it's firmino benteke or ings that proves the best attacking signing all I hope is they all bang in a few goals forget the money aspect.

14.) 04 Aug 2015 12:46:05
it's seems quite hard to get an answer to a a simple bit of banter these days :(

03 Aug 2015 17:05:30
hi all, have not posted in quite some but I do be on everyday, I was wondering if edd1 would have any information on Ryan McGloughlin? how's his football coming on I haven't heard anything regarding him in quite a while and he was a young player with plenty of promise I was beginning to admire, cheers if you know anything.

Irish9kev

{Ed001's Note - he has struggled with injuries mate, I expect him to go out on loan again this season.}

1.) 03 Aug 2015 19:25:15
He played in a few of the U21 preseason games as a winger. Good luck to the lad.

2.) 03 Aug 2015 20:06:58
Injuries. I expect him to be sold. Randal has overtaken him for the U21s.

3.) 03 Aug 2015 21:32:47
Might have been another Randall but didn't he have a trial game at Portsmouth this summer? Prospective loan maybe eds?

4.) 03 Aug 2015 23:21:05
cheers ed and co, I really hope it works out for him hate to see the lad fizzle out.

02 Aug 2014 23:30:29
Hi everyone,

Reading everyday although haven't posted in ages.

I'd just like to express my joy on the whole organisations business this summer, top job so far, I for one will be the first to admit I had my doubts about the owners willingness to spend but they've surpassed themselves IMO, not putting a dampener on it by asking and also edds I won't include any figures, but, have Liverpool overspent, not on players directly but as a whole should we be taking things a little easier than we are? I'm really looking forward to the new season and the game now so thanks in advance,

Ps I think mere can will be a beast!

correct and right edd 2. I've been visiting this site a long time now but less frequently as the time goes by, its so hard to read some of the stuff that these so called fans post. As u put it septic. I see klopp as a guy who wants to do his best owners that tbh guys just want the best for the club, there is no need for all the hate. I also think walking out of the game is a septic thing to do, if a protest is needed then do so at the office's or wherever the decisions are made because all you done really was walk out on our boys who by the way were on the verge of treating us to a comfortable win at home. Priorities first.

I appreciate your opinion guys but all the coaching staff we have see these young lads day in day out everyday, if these guys were good enough they would be there, now don't get me wrong there are plenty good enough but not all, and all are not quite ready either, is it really any harm having another young lad come in and have 3/4 18yr olds busting there balls to make sure there the one the manager picks. he's not going to cost us a fortune but in the long run it could be pivotal survival of the best.
