Anyone seen much of Alisson? he's Brazil’s number 1 which bodes well as he’s in front of Ederson who looks fantastic at City but he was also reserve to Szczney last season. Although I do think Szczney is a good keeper.

Player exchanges are very few and far between now. Not sure many managers will be a fan of them either

You made my point for me. If they wanted him, they would pay the money or are they suddenly out of cash? They did not think he was worth it just like they thought Sanchez's money grabbing antics was not worth it. Mahrez is average, lazy and poor and NO team would touch him so again, why should we sign who other clubs don't think is worth the trouble?

I personally wouldn't mind Rondon. Think he's decent in a poor team. Would improve in a better team.
Would be decent back up, but would lower Solankes minutes.

I know Van Dijk will get all the plaudits and rightly so.
But just wanted to give a mention tonight to Robertson, I thought defensively he was spot on against a dangerous winger in bolasie.

He did well. I'd just like to see a little more composure from him at times. A couple erratic clearances where he could of just lifted his head, relaxed and picked a pass. Hopefully VVD alongside him to demonstrate will help. It will come. Good show though from Robbo.

Put in some great tackles and seemed really up for it. Was extremely unlucky not to get himself a goal as well. A couple of misplaced passes and crosses but the rest of the team were hardly faultless ether.

Yes he had good game but he lost concentration a few times especially at the end which could have cost us. But a very good performance from him and Gomez.

Robertson put in some decent tackles and did reasonably well going forwards but he was partly at fault for their goal, he practically showed Lookman a clear path into the centre of the park and a lot of his tackles were to make up for him being in the wrong place. Not saying he was bad, I think it was an ok performance but just flattered to deceive.

That was a fine team performance and they all individually had a pretty good game. Sigurdson has scored against some very good sides and took his goal really well, but it certainly wasn’t the back five’s fault, especially as we should have had a free kick at the other end of the pitch. Let’s just enjoy the victory against very tricky opponents and give the mud- throwing at some of our own players a rest. On to City and let’s give them a decent game because we need those points more than they do.

In my opinion he was really poor, he was one of tbe reasons we conceede as he was static, all of the dangerous attacks came from his wing, and he didmt try to block a single cross.

Sorry but Robertson was not poor tonight. He had a few dodge moments but so did Gomez but generally both played well. Gomez looks like he could be a giant of a defender in years to come really promising.

Probably the busiest he's been in his short time as a red and for me his best performance so far. You're right Van Dijk will get all the plaudits and I was impressed, away from his goal he was barking orders out at Karius and the defence and that is something we've been missing since Carra hung up his boots .
