Hi guys seen a lot of negative posts on here today over sessegnon potentially signing for spurs and kieta staying where he is. My uncles best friend works for Fulham and after torturing him for a few days about what was happening with sessegnon he confirmed what both Ed 001 and Ed 002 have continually told us that Fulham are loath to doing any business with us. Sessegnon would have been interested in playing for Liverpool tho but Fulham prefer to deal with spurs.

Can someone explain why exactly Fulham are angry at us?
As much as i remember, it was agreed between Fulham and LFC about the Dempsey's transfer, and they were the ones to start talks with Spurs after that, which allowed them to hijack the transfer. Isn't it us who should be angry, and them who should be sorry?
{Ed001's Note - you remember incorrectly, we tapped up Dempsey, who then put in a transfer request to Fulham. We then tried to get him on the cheap, because he had handed in a transfer request after being tapped up by us. It was simply because of the breakdown in relations between Dempsey and the club that he then ended up at Spurs on deadline day.}

Question for ed1. I would be interested in your opinion on this as I enjoy reading what you have to say after games. I know your a klopp fan and i'm glad he's at our club and think if he just changed a few things then he will prove to be a big success. What do you make of our weakness in midfield in that we leave huge gaps that teams allways exploit and our shocking defense and goalkeeper. Do you think klopp has the ability to sort our soft centre out. I'm not over reacting to yesterday's poor performance but this problem has been going on for a few years and i was hopeful klopp Would sort it out over time but I honestly think that he has a much of a clue about sorting the problems out as Rodgers. Same problems yet he's in the job nearly a year and no sign of these areas being addressed. Tactically I think he is lacking as well and hope he changes as he could be a great manager but for me I don't think he will. Playing Gigi as a central midfielder is criminal in my eyes. Hendo takes so much abuse it's unreal as he's the only midfielder who even tries to track runners but with so much space to cover he looks lost. How world you go about making us solid defensively? I think our defensive player are all poor with the exception of sakho who looks to be heading out the door which is a real shame in my eyes. Thanks ed1 looking forward to your answer mate.
{Ed001's Note - I believe he will sort out, he just has a different way of improving the defence to some. It takes time to develop the teamwork necessary. While he may have been in the job a while, he has only had a short time to work with the current team. It needs patience.}

Hey ed01, which players would you expect to form our central pairing? There will probably be rotation, but stability is vital.
Also, you mentioned Grujic as one very likely to be a surprise package in the first team, and the kid does have immense potential - if he manages to adapt well, whom do you see pushing for game time? One of the advanced or the deep lying midfielders?
{Ed001's Note - he will play the advanced role. I am hoping Klopp will change from one sitting or hold back the full backs, which would be even better. Personally though, as things stand, for me it has to be Can and Hendo there. Can is far from perfect, but he is currently our best option.}

Agreed, ed, people seem to forget that some of our best stretches last season came with Can and Hendo as a midfield two. Everyone seems to be underestimating the impact a fully fit Hendo will have on the season, even when he does not excel with individual play (and he actually used to do it very often for a CM), he can make the whole team click better. Let us hope he will be back at his level this year.
Back to my original question though, I was talking about central defense pairing :> Sorry if it did not come clear. I would expect Matip to be there, but not too sure who to put next to him. Sakho would be an interesting choice, as this pairing would either be genius or disastrous- but Sakho seems to be headed out.

it doesn't make sense paying someone elses electricity bills just because they run a rumour website, especially if they have sorted their finances. Bizzare people on here would give the Ed's a free handjob if they asked for it.

Bootlelfc, many people already donate to charities- this is completely different.
It is helping a man who spends the majority of his life editing and managing a free site that I and many find absolutely invaluable. The only honest and reliable site on the internet.
It is actually recompensing a man who 100% deserves some kind of payment for his huge efforts, and who over the last 5 to 10 years has earned our support and gratitude more than any other transfer website you will ever see.
Its not about charity or more deserving causes. Its just simple payback that he has long earned and well deserves- and he deserves a lot more besides.
And its high time some of us showed our gratitude in a way that helps him.
I hope he gets 5000, not 500. He deserves that and a lot more besides as far as I'm concerned.

Great post annonymush, bootle please just don't come back to the site then. The man was in a horrible situation if you cared to even read. You would also know the excess is not being used to pay electricity bills but to repay people he had to borrow off to stop him being jailed the 500 was just the last part. The man has done hundreds of hours work for this site which at minimum wage anywhere in the world would earn him more than 500£ and never has once thought about making money off of this site and even limits the ads and add content on the site which he could easily not do to earn a few extra pound.
Finally it is essentially helping out a friend, while I don't know ed001 personally nor he I (I hope) he has provided me with more than a lot of friends in my lifetime so again the man deserves it and more in my opinion.
And giving to charity you see little to no actual effect from your money, here a group of people have gathered together to essentially change a man's life which is just a fantastic thing in my opinion.

This may be just a "rumor site" for the you but for many of us including ke this is more than that. I have been coming here for the past five years and not a day has passed where I haven't had a look. And if people want to donate then it's their wish. You have know idea how hard it is to be an Ed with the kind of abuse they get. They are the only decent site which is completely free, no ed apart from 1 and 33 gets paid ( including the god like 002) . Even the ads which are their primary source of income, Ed001 always makes sure that they don't interfere. i can personally vouch for how far this site has come and this is by far the most reliable site all over the internet. They have worked extremely hard to get here and Ed001's in need so people. are helping there choice bud. Ed001 can consider it a wedding gift. I personally couldn't donate and feel absolutely terrible about this. But you coming here spouting off nonsense got my head in. Rant over.

Guys playing like we were last season after the first 2 games of this season how long do FSG give that clown Rodgers because our luck is going to run out soon & even a blind man can see our centre backs & keeper are a car crash waiting to happen + this boring football & playing lovren & skrtel together as well as knowing he's on his last legs yet still playing the same system will see him sacked before Xmas. The man is the biggest fraud I've ever seen he walks away with millions yet it's us poor fans that are left to pay the price. FSG have done many good things for the club but the need to get someone who knows something about football to advice them. To give him the job in the first place was foolish but not to sack him in the summer is going to see us struggle to make top 4 for years. His treatment of players & arrogance would be funny if he was the MAN URE manager but he's turned our great club into a running joke

We have got 6 points out of 6 and you are calling for the managers head. You say our defence is "a car crash waiting to happen" when we have defended really well in both games and not conceded a single goal. You say we have rode our luck but have we really rode it any more than the likes of Utd who needed an own goal to beat spurs and created very little against a very poor aston villa side. Bournemouth played really well today. I would much rather be sitting on 6 points out of 6 than be sitting on 1 point right now like spurs and Chelsea who have both been dreadful so far. The same person will be calling rodgers a tactical genius if we get a result in the emirates next Monday night. 6/6 andd no goals conceded, very hard to please some people

Two clean sheets six points and benteke scoring are 3 positives for me but we do need to improve and gel the new players in . We were lucky last night to be honest but they are a decent enough team so take the 3 points and move on .

We are lucky to be ahead our football is so slow it's shocking no pace or movement upfront. Henderson is wasted as the deep lying midfielder. Skrtel & lovren are there usual self can't defend & far 2 slow to play a high line what does shako have to do. 442 diamond with a high press is the way we have to play if we are going to improve not just the results but our style of football. Can't face another season of that slow possession crap

Flanno all day long for me if he stays fit he plays. Positionally better not afraid to tackle and uses the ball well.
Clyne is a poor player and needs replaced imo he cannot defend or attack his only asset is his pace.
