Dubai International Capital are interested in a move to buy Liverpool despite failing to finalise a deal in 2007. (Arabian Business)

It's the second coming of DIC.

Do we really want to be like city?

They only have eyes for one club. Guess it depends if the owners want to 'keep it in the family'.
With the world cup looming and some time to work things out, here's hoping that we get the best of a bad bunch, whoever they are.

We are getting DIC left right and centre.

At least the owners would be Liverpool fans. That’s something I guess.

Just reading up about dic and the family involved. It’s pretty grim reading thinking he’d have ownership of the club. I’d be done with the club to be honest. I know how the quote goes but there are more important things than football.

To be fair LFC have already had some really bad owners before FSG came along.

Moores, Hicks, Gillett. what a bunch!

Dubai would be a perfect spot for pre-season training.

Klopp won’t be here to rescue us forever.
We’re going to need the Massive Money to compete long term.
No manager in the world will pull off what Klopps done.

Klopp or dic and I choose my Jurgen everyday he has been the difference in this club and helping it what it is now along with fsg building the infrastructure of the club . Yeah dic might buy us a new player every window but jurgen and fsg have built us up to what we are I hope we can get more investment going forward to push on but not sure doc are the answer .

I'm a fan of FSG, and I think Klopp is too. They've pulled off the impossible - made us competitive without massive cash. But it looks like competing in the future would rely on pure luck in the transfer market if we want to get bargains like Salh, Mane, Diaz etc. FSG seem to realise that our momentum is too good now to risk that and only a rich owner can take the club forward ( it's also the highest price they're ever going to get to sell ) . I'd be disappointed with an oil rich owner, but FSG have turned away bids before on ethical grounds. If they can convince new owners to keep members of the current board, and commit to FSGs policy of growing the club's commercial reach and infrastructure so that we become more self-sufficient, them it's a win-win. FSGers crossed.

Drogie, I don’t know about a shirt with DIC on the front, but Oxford United had a shirt which had Wang as the sponsor, AC Milan once had Pooh Jeans and Deportivo ****a from Peru literally have D ****a as their sponsor.

Drogie, maybe we’ll get lucky and Trotters Independent Traders will be the new shirt sponsor too.

We don't want DIC slapped in our face.
