Ed02 is city interested in diaz?

Livebird031

{Ed002's Note - Luis Diaz (LW) Could be surplus. His agent already has one player in the Saudi league and has been offering another high profile player he has - so he may well be looking at Diaz as well given Liverpool are well stocked in the position. Al-Hillal may offer a solution. Liverpool will likely resist a deal but could look to a deal with Barcelona if they are serious about Raphinha, but Diaz is not first choice for Barcelona. Using him in part exchange for another may be possible. Thoughts that PSG want him as an Mbappe replacement are well wide of the mark given they have very clear targets already, but his agent has approached PSG - but no more than that. Father says he wants to move to Spain. Liverpool need his future resolved and he may well haved burned his bridges at the club. I am not aware of any offer from Manchester City.}

Im sorry to bother you ed02 but has the interest in Llorente from atleti gone? Thanks.

Livebird031

{Ed002's Note - Long gone.}

1.) 26 Jul 2024 14:52:34
What about Simao and Fekir ?.

2.) 26 Jul 2024 16:55:17
That little Fekir.

3.) 26 Jul 2024 17:35:50
Just type Marcos Llorente SS coffee in google.

And keep that fascist person out of my club.

4.) 27 Jul 2024 02:15:33
On behalf of Viktor, Llorente is 29 years old and is clearly past it. He should be in a retirement home at this point ;)

Ed02 has anything changed with regards to hincapie? Thanks a bunch and have a good day? / night?

Livebird031

{Ed002's Note - Piero Hincapie (CB) Interest of Nottingham Forest will go nowhere. Scouted and rejected by Spurs as not being ready for the Premier League, but he may well be now and they are struggling to find a target to join them. Apparently open to a move to Liverpool as they look for cover but his expectation is to be a starter but that would take the departure of van Dijk and Liverpool have a preferred option under those circumstances. Atletico have spoken with Bayer Leverkusen who are reluctant to make changes at CB although there is pressure mouting over interest both Tapsoba and Tah. Milan and Roma have both sent scouts, but no more than that.}

1.) 18 Jul 2024 11:28:44
Thanks mate. Have a good day.

2.) 18 Jul 2024 14:28:33
I’m glad that the club have decided that he is Hincapable of replacing van Dijk.

29 Nov 2023 12:03:02
Im sorry the search function didn't get any result. Are we interested in Joao Neves ed02? Cheers mate.

Livebird031

{Ed002's Note - Others are but not Liverpool.}

1.) 29 Nov 2023 15:27:46
Thanks mate. have a good day.

Ed01, your opinion on Omar Marmoush? Have you seen him?

Livebird031

{Ed001's Note - I have actually been checking him out the last few games, he looks decent but not outstanding. I would need to watch a lot more though to get a full idea of him.}

1.) 01 Nov 2024 14:36:53
Ed01, saw him play vs Bayern and he was really good. Good pace, movemnet and can score goals. That being said, Bayern were a shambles and afforded the Frankfurt attackers so much space to run into that it was open season for goals on both sides with how open the game was and the high line Bayern play. Think the game ended 3-3.

Not sure he will have that much space to run into in the PL but there you go. Prolly start watching him as well cos we are clearly interested in him.

{Ed001's Note - that is the issue, he wasn't so good against Leverkusen, I saw both of those games.}

2.) 01 Nov 2024 15:53:41
I have watched Marmoosh at least 30 times from when he was still 21, he has improved a a lot in the last couple of years, he is super quick (even quicker than Peak Salah), has very good work rate, and has a very good shot and finishing. However, his technique/ dribbling/ Flair is very erratic, he chooses to shoot even if the pass if the better option. And his passing is also very hit and miss. When i saw Salah at 20 at Basel i could tell after 5-6 games that he was going to be world class, Marmoosh has the mentality and determination to become even better but i am unsure if he has the potential to reach let's say Saido Mane levels let alone Salah. Time will tell, however he is no Salah replacement whatsoever, he is a 2nd striker or a Left winger so Nunez/ Jota Diaz/ Gakpo replacement type player.

3.) 01 Nov 2024 19:29:51
Kudus seems to be a likely purchase from what I'm hearing. Who he'll replace will be interesting.

4.) 01 Nov 2024 19:43:41
Ah okay, Ed01. Glad you saw the Bayern game. That's the thing. It's all well and good getting all this space to run into due to the nature of the Bundesliga. We all saw Timo Warner wrecking it in the same situationand we wanted to sign him at LFC too. When he went to Chelsea, he flopped cos there's nowhere to run into like he had at RBL n frankly overall, he simply did not know where the goal is in addition to the other non football issues he had that you touched on back in the day.

Now, I don't know if he's the guy yet so we will see what happens BUT for me and for now, he ain't good enuff and I'd rather give Chiesa the opportuniies and keep Darwin and Jota for now. Marmoush still needs some time to develop even at 25.

{Ed001's Note - Jota needs to stay fit, as does Chiesa.}

5.) 01 Nov 2024 19:54:08
Why can’t they stay fit Ed?

Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - no idea with regard to Chiesa, but I think Jota needs to spend less time playing video games.}

6.) 02 Nov 2024 00:15:24
Ed01 if Jota is not getting the correct amount of rest and sleep and is spending that time playing video games then, his body can't fully recover. Hence, he is prone to injury.

7.) 02 Nov 2024 00:15:32
Why is there less space to run into in the PL?
Our PL team used to play heavy metal football. Some, like Spurs, play a very high line. United, under Ten Slaps, vacated the middle of the field (the donut) . Others just can't defend.

8.) 02 Nov 2024 04:11:42
Can I just say I never wanted and never will want Werner at Liverpool. To quote Dave Bassett again “he couldn’t hit a cow’s ar$e with a banjo.

I’d also say, if Marmoush, or anybody else, is good enough then there will be space for them to exploit.

9.) 02 Nov 2024 09:38:15
Correct, WDW.
I was never bothered about signing Werner because I'd never seen him play. And the nowhere to run bit is nonsense, too. I watched him against the PL champions the other night and on at least a couple of occasions he had loads of space to run into.
Of course he scored one and missed one but that is more about Werner rather than English football.

28 Oct 2024 12:10:17
You were the best ten hag! My condolences to you!

Livebird031

1.) 28 Oct 2024 12:20:06
A sad day for football fans all across the country haha.

2.) 28 Oct 2024 12:22:56
He was the best. Hopefully they get Southgate in next and continue the legacy that he set.

3.) 28 Oct 2024 12:28:47
Dam it he’s gone
Up the pool.

4.) 28 Oct 2024 12:37:07
No! This is SO unfair!

Ten Hag deserved at least another seven years to turn it around.

5.) 28 Oct 2024 13:06:13
I loved his press conferences, they were just pure comedy gold - ah well, what was it he once said 'eras come to an end' ??.

6.) 28 Oct 2024 13:17:55
Very poor from Man Utd. He deserved more time.

7.) 28 Oct 2024 13:20:25
I'm suddenly so very sad for the guy!

8.) 28 Oct 2024 13:23:35
I would have given Ten Bob a bit longer. They are not in the relegation zone and still in all the cups. Plus they have been a little unlucky with losses and draws this season.

9.) 28 Oct 2024 13:35:20
I don't think a new manager will solve anything whatsoever, 15 or 16 of the players are Ten Hag players.
Southgate is 1st choice in the summer.

10.) 28 Oct 2024 13:48:15
i must say i am bitterly disappointed with Utd all round
1) how can they fire a manager that has won a silverware in each of his season in charge? mind you, the route to FA cup included wins over Liverpool and Man City, whilst Klopp went almost 4 seasons before he picked up the first trophy

2) i read that he has about the same no. of pts as Fergie in the league at this stage? surely, he could have been afforded more time

3) his new players need time. i mean, which manager can come in to take charge of a new team with almost no signings and be among the top of the table. surely that's an anomaly that is rate and he should have been given the chance to work with his old and new signings

4) the PL's entertainment value be it in Utd's matches or pre and post match conferences just dropped. I mean, the owners are all about the money, so why did they do this to themselves?

5) and we wanted a season without much fanfare from the fans but surely, there is going to be nationwide protest about his untimely and unfair sacking. just riling the fans of all other clubs for no good reason.

6) and they are not even out of any competition yet! gosh i can go on. so very poor from Utd's top brass.

11.) 28 Oct 2024 14:20:05
Not going to lie, I’m gutted ?.

12.) 28 Oct 2024 14:25:59
Ten hag should still be manager . he won more than the supposedly messiah of Arsenals, Arteta. let's hope Southgate gets the job.

13.) 28 Oct 2024 14:35:18
No VAR talk today?
That was never a penalty given against United yesterday and I thought there might be some backlash about it.
As you were, then.

14.) 28 Oct 2024 16:35:38
Van Nistelrooy named interim, ManU want Thomas Frank per espn.

15.) 28 Oct 2024 17:25:07
Sad day for football. Although it’s exciting seeing who’s next. Jennings Berg got it right saying all the best managers are taken and I don’t think there’s much chance of improvement with the options available and also the fact that the Glazers are still there. Bring on Gareth!

16.) 28 Oct 2024 17:27:11
Oh yes and I’m looking forward to Shappy’s next comic episode in polishing a t#rd.

17.) 28 Oct 2024 17:44:58
WDW3, Shappy's already composing his next article: "Why the Eric ten Hag era should be seen as success. "

I hope they get Roy Keane as the next manager.

18.) 28 Oct 2024 17:56:44
Im really sorry that this era came to an end?‍??‍??‍?.

19.) 28 Oct 2024 18:04:06
Initially I thought Ten Hag was a good appointment for them at first.

But he made baffling decision after baffling decision.

Right from the off he had one of his key men to his Ajax successful period in Donny van de beek. He was excellent pressing from the front and offering a playmaker type role as CF with Wingers being the prime goal threat. Much like a Firmino, Salah, Mane type model. I found it really strange he didn't use him to implement something similar.

United is a tough tough job for whoever comes next. Hopefully it will get the better of the next guy in and ruin his career like so many before. We can only hope. Personally I'm hoping Potter gets it.

20.) 28 Oct 2024 18:23:46
He’s welcome in Liverpool whenever he wants. Legend.

21.) 28 Oct 2024 18:43:07
Ruben Amorim by all accounts.

22.) 28 Oct 2024 18:58:52
Something Red. Be careful what you wish for. For all you know, Roy Keane could scare the sh*t out of that squad, into playing much better. ?.

23.) 28 Oct 2024 19:01:44
I just saw on the BBC website that he spent £ 564m on transfers since joining in April 2022. It’s an obscene amount of money to spend in the first place but if you are going to spend that much then you would expect to have a much, much better squad than they have. Debatably their best prospect is Mainoo and the irony is he was born in Manchester (Stockport) and came through their youth system ??.

Carragher said ge thought that United were the most poorly coached club in the PL and he might well have been right but the problem is, and has been since the Glazers took over, is the lack of a culture within the club. You look at Busby, Ferguson and you see a definition of what the club is and where it is going (rather than wants to be) . The likes of Ole and Ten Hag are just the effects rather than the cause.

As an aside, from our perspective we can look at Shanks, Sir Bob, King Kenny and the “Ordinary One’ and you see what we stand for and so far Arne is showing (in a reserved, controlled way) the first signs of what we can be.

24.) 28 Oct 2024 20:09:29
Can we end the argument now that winning trophies is the most important.

25.) 29 Oct 2024 10:00:30
Good point, Faith; but Ten Hag has won more in English football than Slot has ?.

30 Sep 2024 05:25:07
Im rooting for ten haags contract extension!

Livebird031

1.) 30 Sep 2024 10:47:11
I actually hope they win their next game to give ETH a bit of breathing space. I mean you wouldn’t Want him sacked.

2.) 30 Sep 2024 11:00:50
If Seven is given the old heave-ho, and I sincerely hope he doesn’t, I’d like to see the Talking Waistcoat get a crack at it.

3.) 30 Sep 2024 13:23:04
Ten Hag would make a great politician.

How he keeps a straight face when he comes out with some of the stuff he says is an absolute mystery.

4.) 30 Sep 2024 14:08:21
WDW if these frauds do what you are saying and hire The Waist Coat then, Im going to go fire up the popcorn cos it's going to be a show for the ages. Can you bring the butter?

5.) 30 Sep 2024 16:09:08
Aye JK I agree, though his pressers are comedy gold lol.

6.) 30 Sep 2024 21:14:39
Did I see that JR had decided to sack the stadium announcer or simikar role?

Been there 25 years

Got Ten Hag to present him with a shirt with 25 on the back.

If salah gives another 2-3 years of 25-30 goals and 10-15 assist i don't mind loosing him for 40m instead of say 100m right now.

Livebird031

{Ed025's Note - what makes you think you could get £100m for him now Liverbird?, he can go for free in the summer mate..

I think slot also wants the 8s to shoot more than 10 mate? It feels wierd coz szobo as u said before just keeps passing while i have seen macca shoot? Seems wierd as szobo probably would cover more ground and shoot very well too? I think its time we replace robbo too. It just hurts seeing him play this bad.
