Shockingly fantasy football is good for updates and are saying he’s tweaked a muscle and us 75% likely to play. They are usually fairly accurate - no idea where they get their info from.

{Ed001's Note - it really depends on the club and how honest they are over an injury. Sometimes it can be very reliable, but other times clubs are trying to cover up things so as not to tip their hand to opponents. Personally I think that clubs should be required by the league to be open about everything. Makes it much harder for corruption to occur if everything a club does has to be available to the public, particularly with regards to transfers and wages. It won't stop brown envelopes and under the counter payments to Guardiola to reduce the FFP burden on a club, but it makes it more difficult to get away with them.}

Hope Klopp is brave this weekend and gives Doak a shot instead of Ox. Lad has no fear of anything and looks a proper threat running at defenders.

I doubt Doak will start. It’s a can’t afford to lose game tomorrow and I’d doubt he’d throw him in to such a game. Maybe a sub appearance hopefully as I have high hopes for the kiddie.

The only other “option” out wide is ox, which would be almost like handing them the game as he contributes very little.

Could maybe start gakpo and salah up top. Elliot/ Carvalho in behind. Thiago Henderson Fabinho midfield 3. Play more narrow if we don’t have the players available that are comfortable out wide. Haven’t seen much of Doak to be honest so couldn’t really give an opinion on him. The other youngsters who have been given their chance get slated so not sure whether it’s the right time to chance another too early and knock his confidence too.

He did MK. Didn’t get much praise for that tho. I’d rather see him back in the midfield tho. At least he has a bit more pace about him and can score a goal.

Never mind using seasoned professionals who know the game - put a 17 year old in from the start in a midfield that our expert analysts have been slagging off all season - with a bit of luck we can slaughter the 17 year old at the end of the match. - happy days.
