Ed02:read news articles which states contract talk with Salah stalled as he is demanding 500,000 per week. Quite a lot from Liverpool standard. Any update on this.

If this is what he’s wanting I don’t see him signing a new contract. Whether the club decides to let him move or run down his contract is another matter. I don’t see many having the money too next summer other than PSG when mbappe goes.

It makes me wonder how much is salah worth a week. 500 is a lot but I think anything around 400 a week is worth it. It will uoset other high earners but he is our main man and has been consistent for years now. It will be his last big contract so he will want a tidy sum. He I a truly world class player and there aren't many about. The cost to replace his numbers surely far outweigh the cost of trying to replace him. Thoughts?

I care and I don’t think his worth £400k a week because if we give him that it set a benchmark what is not a level the club can run at. I love Salah but if he is asking for that I hope the club sell him we are still in a C.V. world where people are dying and clubs have lost millions but they have still got paid there massive contracts. It’s not a good look it’s pure greed.
