Without getting all Kumbaya lads, can we put aside the infighting and get back to good discussion between fans?

There’s always some great debates on here but I think we’ve all felt that recently it’s developed into a bit of an us versus them between fans.

I think it’s fair to say we’re all very disappointed with how the season is going and that disappointment is manifesting itself in the tit for tat on here.

Once we get back to winning and playing good helpful, I think we will all be a lot happier!

I’m not championing team positive or team negative here.

I’m not saying we’ve all got to be “super fans” and pretend we’re happy if we’re not, but we are all Liverpool fans and we all just love the club and want to get back to enjoying watching us play again.

Roll on Wolves and please please I hope to god 3 points!

There’ll always be bickering between fans especially when the team is really struggling but we all want the same thing end of the day.

Love the club, hate the owners it’s a simple formula.

Would be nice, I recently jumped on the live chat after a break as it had become a bit toxic. Unfortunately, it has now become a bit of a middle aged women's book club were 80% of the chat was about gossiping about other posters and the Ed's.

Oddly enough, a strong contingent were by posters who I had never seen post on this site before.

It's certainly a shame as there has become a bit of a divide where you're either for or against FSG it seems, I stead of just friendly banter and footie discussion.

I do think the teams poor form has probably contributed, but it would be good to get back to previous times. We don't need to all agree, but healthy debates would be good.

Great post Navy Kieth. I’ve had my fair share of back and forths on here with numerous posters and in fairness a lot of the time I’m easily to blame because I’ve been sarcastic without probably even realising it.

However no ill feelings towards anyone and I’d happily have a pint with any poster on match day around Anfield.

Stuie I'm with you on that allot of the doom and gloom posters seem to be trolls now I wouldn't doubt that it's maybe from another fanbase that think they are funny and don't complain about the glazers anymore.

Stuie. There is good and bad in equal measure on both the live chat and main forum. What I find toxic is the ‘this group vs that group’ thing. Let’s just let everyone have their say without be called names, spoken down to and your support for the club being questioned. Debate and discussions is what makes a football forum after all, irrespective of one’s personal view point. If someone feels everything is fine with our form, results, tactics and lack of signings that’s fine and they are entitled to their opinion. If others feel frustrated at the results, tactics and lack of signings that’s fine. If some are somewhere in the middle, again that is also fine. I’m not talking about the extremes here but I have lost count the amount of times I have seen someone post something reasonable (however that’s measured) but a reasonable post expressing their concerns only for that to be met with a condescending response not even offering their side of things, just straight sarcastic one liners because what someone posted didn’t fit their narrative or line of thinking. Why has it become normalised to name call and speak down to those genuinely expressing their concerns on a football forum? That’s my only gripe, not the part where someone has a difference of opinion, which ironically ties into your closing statement ‘We don't need to all agree, but healthy debates would be good’.

Navy Keith, great post btw!

Negativity breeds negativity. It’s a lot easier to drag people down than pull them up.

See, just like I did with that comment in this nice positive thread.

Well said Navy. I for one, from now on, will not be baited by negativity, nor offer thumbs up to those who are. I will only engage in wholesome discussion with people wishing to do likewise. Done.

Doom and gloom posters, ! Hopefully we make a best selling dvd highlighting this season’s achievements “ LIVERPOOLS BEST TUNNEL RUN OUTS 22/ 23 SEASON”! When I read some of your posts for some reason (my inner voice) makes them sound like a hippie “I’m just a really positive person”! Give me and the other “doom and gloom” posters 1 just 1 positive from this season so far.
