Ed1, does it make you less confident if united secure Sesko that LFC won't get Isak? Or you still maintaining the same confidence regardless.
Could be abit annoying that Sesko taking the micky has prevented us getting Isak. I think personally he has had NUFC as his second choice all this time and United as his first and been waiting on them could be wrong but this has dragged on for ages.
Can any of the Eds tell me, is he even this good? I haven’t ever watched him and thought he was special other than he has a shot like a rocket.
{Ed001's Note - I am still confident and no, Sesko is not that special. He is a young Nunez, except with a rocket shot. Some of his finishing is embarrassing.}

Sesko could turn out be sensational. Has all the attributes to be a top 9. He's only 22. I remebr we signed a young Spaniard who had all the attributes though his finishing at athletico Madrid wasn't great. Torrestturned out to be sensational for us. Sesko with that power just has to keep his finishing on target. Does not have to find the corners as much. Some players come on at bigger clubs, some don't. I think sesko is a dark horse of this window and I wouldn't have minded getting him myself.

How about a quick comparison between Sesko and Ekitike.
Both from Bundesliga, similar age, and seemingly similar price range as well.
Have to admit I seldom watch Bundesliga.
{Ed001's Note - apart from both not getting into the box enough, there is not really a lot to compare. Sesko is very like Nunez - all hustle and bustle, lots of effort but inconsistent with his finishing. Palindrome is more like Isak, or a bit of Bobby even in there. He likes to drop off and take the ball, can run with it or slide passes through. I was saying to Ed77 just the other day that I wasn't that excited about him before I started watching footage of him. The more I watch, the more I like, whereas Sesko is more the opposite, the more I watch, the more flawed he looks. Sesko does have a rocket of a shot, but it is so wild, it can end up anywhere.}

As mad as it sounds i do think Newcastle could do more with Jackson. I know he isn’t the greatest but i don't think he along with Wissa would be a bad addition but that's just my opinion.
From what i have seen of Sesko too, as you say it just seems he has a shot like a rocket and is fairly decent in the air. Hopefully he can just hurry up and make his decision instead of mucking around and then Newcastle can move on.

Sesko has athleticism, pace, physicality, good technique, erratic finishing, very good work rate and decent movement, he has all the attributes to be a top player, just like Nunez, but at this point in time I would say that he isn't even at Nunez' level, despite having a more reliable touch than Nunez, I would say. They are very similar players, I think. Still for 70m I can understand why teams think he is a project worth betting on, because he might become a 100m player further down the line.
I like Jackson a lot as a player but I understand Chelsea fans probably find him to be the most frustrating player they have ever watched, he loves taking a shot every time he has a sight at goal, it's almost a guarantee, even when there is a better option. One might argue that Wissa wouldn't even have started this year if their Brazilian record signing hadn't had a season ending injury, and last year was the first year he started and turned in consistent numbers, which has earned him his big move. Arguably if Brentford can get what they are asking for from Newcastle it would be fantastic business from them, because he is ageing, will probably never be worth this much again, and seriously overperformed last year, which means he might not reach those heights ever again.
