Spoke to my Newcastle friend this morning and he said he blames the agent the most in this situation. That the agency is one of the most aggressive in football. Interesting to note Isak, Gyorkores and Emi Martinez have the same agent and all downed tools and don't want to play for the club to get a move.
One thing I was thinking was Hughes and Howe have known eachother for over a decade and have a good relationship. Surely Howe would of said look he's not for sale and the owners won't sanction it so don't bid.

I presume Yoane Wissa is represented by the same agency since he's also downed tools to get a move to Newcastle? If it's just this really aggressive agency who are getting their players to do it, right?
