I think a lot here are overreacting after this week. With all the changes in summer, at the time the consensus was that it would take some time for the team to gel. That is now happening and people are freaking out. Isak and Mac Allister are still effectively in pre-season with their fitness levels.
I don't think Slot has helped himself at times with his tinkering, especially when he attributed the success of last season to the consistency in the team selection. This season has been the complete opposite. Constantly changing full-backs who can't build an understanding with the centre-backs and wingers, Szoboszlai has played in about three different positions, Wirtz has barely played as a 10 behind Isak which will be an essentially partnership. The lineup against Galatasaray was a p take. It's a bit messy at the moment.
Personally I think Slot needs to persist with a consistent lineup to build chemistry and tactical understanding for now. We need time on the training field. I actually think getting knocked out in the Carabao to Crystal Palace would help us so we can just focus on the Premier and Champions Leagues.

What injury did Macca actually have that saw him sit out the end of last summer, miss the pre-season and be so far off the pace still, genuine question as I've just read on here he had an injury.

So what you're saying is we should keep starting players like gakpo, mac etc? even when they're playing pretty awful.
