Truth be told if slot pulls Mo to the side and says look Mo here’s my thinking then Mo doesn’t need to make the statement . Something must be amiss behind the scenes tho if the talk of player meetings are true too.

mo made the statement because he is one of us, all the players and most fans want slot gone now! only the blind superfans will tell you otherwise. Like we played well yesterday ignoring the fact Leeds gifted us 2 goals and we still f***** it up.

There’s no need to make the statement full stop, like there was no need to spend the first half of last season talking like he was “out the door” to then sign a contract and do one of those ridiculous social media posts at the most important part of the season, I know that those things aren't necessarily down to the player but the fact his form has dropped off a cliff since then tells its own story.
So sick of footballers and their whining.

I agree, ArneSlotsBarber to a point. To me, there is no more communication going on btw both individuals. There is turmoil in the club and in the dressing room, for sure. Salah didn't just go off. He prolly has been wanting to do this for a while now. He is that calculated esp. for someone who either does not give interviews or measures his words when he does give them.
And if anyone thinks that other players (esp. those Slot has frozen out) don't agree with Salah's outburst symbolocally then, they are not paying attention, IMO.
And this is not an either/ or. Salah going off does not remove from the fact that Slot should and prolly will go. and if Salah does go then, so be it. Just my take.

ArneSlotsBarber, I wouldn't mind betting that when I'm at the Brighton game, the Slot song gets sang before the Salah one.
