Evening fellow annoyed Red supporters.
Was thinking about 'outside' and was wondering who your favourite current commentators and pundits are right now. It is very slim pickings considering the majority of them spout nonsense so frequently.
I do like old McOist on commentary but his voice does drone sometimes. As for analysis. well what are your thoughts?

I must have missed it a few days ago, so mccoist is definitely my favourite. He just sounds human, admires good football no matter who it's from, and brings a joy to concentrating that no one else has at the moment. Even the missus, who doesn't really watch football, likes it when ally's on.

So going back well over 30 years I had a mate who was on Rangers books until Souness, from the bath tub (no joke) told him his days at Rangers were over.
Anyway myself and a few friends would have been over in Glasgow quite often and got to know some of the Rangers lad reasonably well.
McCoist was pretty much like you see and hear on TV and was always good for a laugh. A few of the English players were bellends tho ( Chris Wood) to name one and Ian Durant drank way too much for a footballer.
Long and short, Ally McCoist top bloke in every way possible Rugby ?.

I agree Rover, met him as a kid when he was winding his career down at Kilmarnock, seemed like a good guy. Wasn't a terrible manager either, but much prefer him doing the commentating!

I find mccoist a bit biased against us, especially on prem league games a bit of a ?️end.
