I do hope the hierarchy at Liverpool make contact with Alonso. There's a real possibility that Kompsny will replace Guardiola this summer which could see Bayern go for Alonso!
If LFC do the norm and dither around we could miss out on our original preferred option.

Pep will definitely do another year. He won't leave on a L against his apprentice. He was buzzing with signing Semenyo. Kompany surely wants more time with Bayern to stack up some trophies. Kane, Olise, Diaz, Karl are all on fire. Musiala to get back to his best also.

@funky061, that is the job of the transfer team. It is their job to make their case to the manager and tell him why he could be wrong and as Klopp is not that full of himself, he listened to them a lot.
Also, it was the data analytics team that convinced the club (John Henry, to be exact) into hiring Klopp, as well. Thank heavens, he is not as full of himself as many on here thinks he is.
