Apparently he prefers Liverpool. We'll just have to wait and see. If City do agree a deal with Palace and Guehi is open to moving in January then maybe we will match it and we will find out who he prefers. Or maybe we think that they are offering over the odds and we decide not to match it. Who knows.

City are just reverting to type, buy players when you are falling behind a rival, something most of the rest of the league can't do the way they've done unpunished. 115 charges will be swept under the carpet with a small punishment not fitting the actual crime, and with us and seemingly Arsenal now winning the league the last few seasons, the league will PR their way out of it. It's why VAR seemed to be more in our favour last season and more in arsenals favour this season. Having said that, I don't want Arsenal winning the league, they have become deplorable, and I mean everything about them, from a top club I actually had quite a lot of respect for to this, I'd much prefer city winning it, so if this somehow helps them so be it, because we're doing absolutely nothing about it.
They've probably seen Semenyo work out so far and thought let's do what we need to do and try buy the league again without getting rid of anyone. All this is just demoralising from our standpoint because we're in limbo in all aspects, Hughes and Edwards probably don't want to improve the squad knowing that slot might not be their man come the summer, so best to wait for the summer to roll around before overpaying on players again. Guehi and semenyo are both huge misses that would have vastly improved the first 11 let along the wider squad and a bunch of us knew that we needed a CB and a LW more than Isak but we don't look like addressing them areas anytime soon. If we get top 4 this season I'll take it and run.

Is he really that good tho? Teams paid more for Bournemouth's cb's when Guehi was available cheaper? I think some fans have got it into there heads that he is the new Vvd. I'm not fussed, don't care what Slot says he's gormless.
