I think now is the time to remove the manager, he provides no inspiration to the team or fans, can't see us getting top 4, but looking at Chelsea n United they've got the new manager bounce n look capable of staying where they are in the league, If Alonso, Irola or anyone else in the frame don't want it yet, we need a short term solution, I know people don't want Gerrard but I think he could pick us up and get us going again, at least fight for the shirt, got to be better than this utter Slot show atm.

I know Oli, just wishful thinking on my part, Slot is here till at least the end of the season. I just wished he'd go for it in games, like yesterday we had Citeh on the ropes scored, we should have pushed for a second goal but knew we'd sit back, that in itself is a good idea if we knew how to see games out, but sadly we don't know how to do that.

I totally agree with all of the above. SG long term no thank you but I'd take him right now. He'd definitely pick the squad up and get them fighting again.

It's to the point that I'd take anyone over slot for the rest of the season.
Unless Alonso refused to come until summer, I don't understand why a move hasn't been made yet. Surely now it's obvious to everyone that this can't go on and, even if Alonso isn't available, we need an interim. There's no longer an delusion that we could be a in a worse position than where we currently are.

I know, Strom. I know. It hurts and I get it. As for Gerrard, it would have made sense as an interim esp. if he has an assistant (s) who is very well-versed tactically.
That window was allowed to pass by Hughes and Edwards so my prob. moving forward is no longer Slot. it is the other two so they'd better hope Slot gets us CL footie because I ain't trying to hear about no Conference league.

Thats the first time I've heard the conference mentioned, and that scares the rubbish out of me.
