Get Gerrard in immediately. He should have been in months ago. The board is incompetent and negligent. It doesn't matter if Alonso won't join before the summer. Slot has to go now.

Difficult to want a proven poor manager to come in, even if he probably isn't much worse than Slot.

Dean, he surely can't do worse right now. The players are over it, they can't perform the way Slot sets the team... it's been the same for months.
Surely, Stevie can at least light a fire in their bellies and scream at them, try a few different things, get that usual new manager bounce.
I honestly think, no matter who you put in there as a manager, we get a bounce. The players are clearly completely fed up with it all.
