Evening ed001 .
Another very poor performance today and it could lead to Slot being shown the door.
Lots of chat regarding Gerrard, do you think this would be a wise move? He really struggled at Villa so I'm not so sure
Cheers
Drogie.
{Ed001's Note - I would certainly not want him as the long term manager, but it could be fine as a short term choice to see out the season. Just to get some fire into the players' bellies.}

Fire in the bellies and rocket up their arses.

Can't get any worse I suppose Ed001 .
At least Chelsea are struggling too, 3-0 down to Everton who will be only 3 points behind us!
Cheers
Drogie
{Ed001's Note - it could get worse, we could end up finishing below Everton at this rate.}

Ed you said multiple times this season that you didn't want gerrard anywhere near the team. What made you change opinion?
{Ed001's Note - anything is better than Slot right now. Well, almost anything.}

I can see the reluctance in giving Gerrard the interim job, as if he got a 'bounce', i.e. give PSG a tough game, beat Everton + Utd away, the fans would be demanding he get the job, and I don't think he'd be the right choice long term. People will say the board should be stronger than that, but if that happened and they didn't appoint him permanently after doing v good job as interim, imagine the pressure the new manager would be under if he started slow.
I'm v surprised not more on here has mentioned Dalglish as interim manager. Everybody would know it was only short term, fans would be galvanised right away and Dalglish would put a bit of fire into players' bellies right away. Talk tactics all day, but 1st of all u have to win the ball and put your body on the line to do so. That's our no.1 problem, imo, not near determined or aggressive enough in our play.

Ed. I'm afraid we're already on route to 7th. Stevie is looking like our only hope. No he's not a permanent solution, but whatever he lacks tactically, he more than makes up for as a leader. The difference he could make mentally is huge. We have the talent, we need the passion and I can't think of one single person who could walk into that dressing room right now and better excite that group of players.
Every one of them grew up watching Stevie and I think there's very few people who would be capable of motivating like he could through sheer presence alone. He'd also have us playing quicker more direct football, something the fan base has been crying out for all season. With only 7 games left and hope for Arne fading faster than his hairline, I can't see a reason not to.

I reckon we win the four home games. We get 5th personally.

You reckoned we'd beat Brighton, you reckoned we'd beat Wolves, you reckoned we'd beat Totenham. the list go's on. You've literally got the worst track record for predictions I've ever seen. I don't actually think you're even a Liverpool fan, with your track record you have to be a manc troll in scousers clothing, cause nobody can actually be that delusional

Even Rosenior, Ed? because I don't know about that.
{Ed001's Note - I wouldn't class him as a manager, he is a joke.}

I'm saying we'll get 5th. I've said all along Slot will be here until May. Both are correct. Now, if yis want to call me a troll (a new addition to my evergrowing list of names) because yis don't agree with that, that's fine, lads. You guys go ahead labelling anyone who doesnt agree with yis.
