It's sad to see that the board are letting this run through to the rest of the season.
As long as I've supported Liverpool, I've felt an upset was always possible. Even when we weren't great. But this team has lost its fight. It's sad to be in a Champions League quarter final and just waiting to go out. That is NEVER what this club is about. Heck, most clubs would claw for an upset. For weeks we've been using the wrong word for what Slot has made us. We use the word passive.

At this moment in time we are a submissive football club.
I can handle quality being lacking but this is unforgivable and Slot should be sacked immediately.
Arrangements should be made to ensure Edwards and Hughes follow as soon as a smooth handover can be made.
Let's get a new man in and have at PSG. We'll still be underdogs but I'd like to go into that game with real bite and see what they're truly made of.

There you said it. I don't see how Alonso can operate under Edwards and Hughes. And, since Edwards and Hughes are part of the problem, the club cannot change all 3 right now.
So, we have accepted our fate and will wait till summer for changes.
The only reason I can see is the club is in the process of identifying replacements for all 3.
We have identified Alonso, but we need to figure out who will replace Hughes and Edwards.
Also, I have a sneaky feeling that FSG will cash out on us. 6.5B is the figure I am told, and a certain billionaire is very interested in us but needs a partner.

I'll add 2 more words - arrogance and incompetence.
The staggering arrogance of those above Slot who insist that 'we are different' and for us fans (the real - and only - thing that makes us different) to 'show some f***ing patience' makes me sick.
As does the sheer incompetence of not being able to sign 2 players in January who were begging to come to us and would have made us better.
Slot's incompetence has been obvious for months now and the combined incompetence and arrogance of those whose job it is to see that - and act in the best interests of the club, not themselves - should result in their dismissal as well as his. Immediately.
Oh, and stick your roundtables as far up as they will fit while you're at it.
