If this is true, what kind of culture has Slot created where players are rewarded with a break after an abject performance like Friday? Absolute insane, no wonder we've had a dreadful season.
I remember last season when Slot went to Ibiza after winning the PL, I thought that seemed odd at the time and why not wait until the season was over.

The optics of giving them three days off to go partying in Monaco after Friday is pretty horrendous, SG. I'd totally get it if we'd battered Villa and confirmed our Champions League spot, but, in the circumstances, they should have been made to report for extra training and an inquest into what went wrong.
